I'd love it if there was an option to constrict the mouse cursor's movement to stay inside the window. I've had some silly deaths accidentally clicking my stuff in background.

Full screen solves this. I

Full screen solves this. I understand not everyone can play on Fullscreen (on this computer I can't even play at all XD) but that's the best solution.
You could also just lower your desktop resolution to something closer to the game resolution so its near impossible to click outside the bounds of the game.

Or just learn to keep your mouse closer to your character since s/he only aims in whatever direction you are currently pointing, distance doesn't affect it. Even with guns it would be better for you to learn how to hit an enemy without always clicking on the enemy. An inch or two away should suffice.

Mouse inside window option

Bumping this topic because its the suggestion I wanted to make. We have this conversation pretty much daily among my friends\guild; its relatively simple to implement (code wise) and several other games have it available or implemented it at players' request (Worms Reloaded in particular comes to mind)

Fullscreen is not a fix. If the game were fullscreen only I'd almost never play. Because Spiral Knights is totally casual and totally awesome I can play while watching online video content, chatting, and browsing and I regularly do all of these while playing.

Clicking outside the window happens multiple times daily and regularly leads to misfortune and death. Please implement a 'confine mouse to window' option! Thank you!!

I play in windowed mode, with

I play in windowed mode, with the game window resolution similar to my desktop resolution and it happened to me once or twice that I accidentaly clicked outside the window.
But realy, it's not that big a deal. Not clicking all around like crazy should be more than enough to avoid clicking outside of the game window.

Also, you can switch between fullscreen window and other windows by simply pressing ALT+TAB (though I too prefer playing games in window, not in fullscreen).

I actually totally agree with

I actually totally agree with this, I want to use windowed because (I think) it's faster, I can see stuff going on in the background and I can change to other windows almost seamlessly.

But on the other hand I occasionally switch out while fighting, which sucks.

If this could be toggled in the options menu as an additional feature to locking your HUB(I think that's it, the interface), that would be helpful.
