Date Joined Wrong?

I'm pretty sure I joined before June, it's like impossible that I joined that late, because my school got out before June and yet I clearly remember several times where I told my friends at school that I was playing this awesome, new game called Spiral Knights and telling them that they should try it out...
So, am I hallucinating, is the Date Joined system wrong, or am I just confused?

OH... So, the date shown below your name is when you joined the FORUMS not like when you created an account?
That makes a lot more sense, because I'm pretty sure I didn't actually join the forums or something for a bit.
