It is heavy on the piercing defense, most mixed sets only use one armor with piercing instead of both. That would provide an opportunity for more defense in Normal, Elemental or Shadow. The new Polyps make piercing more desirable but they are silly easy, even in T3. This a pretty nice armor set for Royal Jelly Palace though.

Nice shield, my personal favorite for T2 and easy T3 strata.

If you only want to have two weapon slots then those are great weapons to have. Eventually you'll want to expand into more damage types such as piercing and shadow, maybe even get an elemental sword. But at that point you'll probably want to get 3-4 weapon slots so you always have the right weapon for the monster.

The slime and beast bonuses from the armors are nice, but are underutilized right now. The bonuses would provide additional damage not just for your sword but also for your guns and bombs... but the pulsar does poor damage to beasts and only does neutral damage to slimes. If you had something like Callahan, Umbra Driver, DBB or Graviton Vortex then the bonuses would be more noticeably utilized. As it stands now, practically the same bonus could be obtained by one piece of Skolver or an Elite Slash Module.
