What happened to that Menders' oath?

Seriously. I thought those menders took an oath to do no harm? One of them was swatting me with it's staff non-stop as a combo attack, and yes, did damage. Now either that gremlin was a special dude, or somethings up...
In case people don't know/remember:

* Gremlin menders have taken an oath to do no harm. (Fixed issue that was allowing menders to attack with their wand.)

If its still happening, I'm kind of glad. I absolutely hate those monsters just because they heal everyone. And their whacking attack and ember bolt often catches me off guard, but its because of that little unexpected surprise that makes them even worse but more interesting. I mean especially when they're alone, would a monster that can fight really just try to outheal your damage. Better bring out that wand D: Plus it makes the wrench wand actually relevant.
So I was surprise when it was reported as an "issue" anyway. Just don't let silkwings fight back >.>;
It's only an issue cus it has no warning, but yeh still happening (they go absolutely nuts with it sometimes)

To enc643, the issue with the knights had no relation to shock. It's just that in combat with them, they would sometimes inflict normal damage on you, as opposed to elemental type damage that the whole construct family has.

I think that mecha issue is still there, because sometimes I see red spikes on the ground during tier 2 arenas vs mechas...
Isn't it supposed to be all green?
Unless their normal swing (not the brandish/calibur wannabe attacks) is meant to be Normal...
Tier 2 is split normal + [piercing, elemental, or shadow]. It's T3 where it's supposed to be pure elemental.

I know, but why are the spikes red... isn't it supposed to be still green if it's 1/2 normal 1/2 elemental DAMAGE?
Does it mean that in tier 2...
1. Mecha knight normal attack is fully normal?
2. Charge attack is fully elemental?
...which would fit the misleading description. Even if it's not a "damage split" but an "attack split".

T3 should be all one type damage. But there are many many mobs still dealing split damage. Woods for examplel, Mecha Knights, even some Wolver!
Confirmed btw that Mendor still can attack. Just not with the range shot -> still buggy!! fix plz :)

I noticed this as well. I think they have to be very low health in order to fight back. I think this because I brought a kilowatt pulsar and a haze bomb mk II to a deconstruction zone. The menders started to fight back after I harassed them for a long while.
I didn't report the issue even though I should have....

I got hit by a darkfang mender... with an ember bolt... closely followed by a 6 hit combo... i seriously was not expecting this and got killed by the mender. The worst thing? IT HAPPENED TODAY
But yeah... its the first time i see a mender shoot an ember bolt at me in a long long time so yep... i was kinda staring at its karate kungfu while my teammates were laughing about me dying to a mender
Never seen a hit by one. Ember bolt, yes, actually a smack to the head? No.
Though it seems like a big deal to you guys...No offence if it's possible to take any.
Menders
I think they should get around to fixing that for good. I think the Ember Bolt can stay, 'cause that's related to the Wrench Wand and it wouldn't make sense to leave them completely defenceless on their own. The wand-whacking, though? I'd rather see it removed.
Mecha Knights
If I remember correctly, all Mecha Knights except those without a status ailment deal Elemental damage, while those without deal Normal Damage. So any mechs that can freeze, shock (aside from their self-shocking), poison and burn are supposed to deal Elemental damage. Those who do not afflict you with status ailments through attacks are supposed to deal Normal damage.
I stood next to one for like 3 minutes like a week ago and it didn't attack me at all, so I dunno what's happening to you guys.

I'm curious. As far as I know, the only things that deal pure-typed damage are turrets in T3. Everything else still deals split damage with normal, in T2 and T3. Not sure if the ratios are the same between T2 and T3, but T3 monsters (other than turrets) deal split type.

Standing next to one wont work, you got to hit them till they have very very low hp, like one to two hits more and they are dead. then you will start seeing all sorts of funny things happen [when they start hugging corners without healing or doing anything]

That's what I've observed. Never saw them attack outside arenas.

Yeah, one of them definitely smacked me without warning while I was in a deconstruction zone a while ago. It's not fixed.
Then again, I never knew this was a glitch in the first place until they allegedly fixed it, so maybe it's not priority one.
How bout dem Mecha Knights being able to still shock you?
