First off, there's 2 weapons that will be involved and one monster. The main focus is the 2 swords against one certain monster, which will do better?

Weapon:

1. Tempered Calibur (3*) - Five (5) bars [Normal Attack] (Level 10)
2. Iceburst Brandish (3*) - Four (4) bars [Normal Attack] & Four (4) bars [Elemental Attack: Ice] (Level 10)

Monster:

Mecha Knight (Construct); weak against *Elemental* <-- Attention to weakness
-----------------------------------------------------------

Problem/Question:

I use my Tempered Calibur's first slash and do about 80 damage to a Mecha Knight.
If I use (I don't own one yet) Iceburst Brandish and attack a Mecha Knight with my first slash, will it do more damage than my Tempered Calibur?
If so, that means Iceburst Brandish's attack stacked, right? |

So is this right?

*Its four NORMAL bars added (+) with its four ELEMENTAL bars equal eight bars; which is obviously higher than Tempered Calibur's five normal attack bars.*

Yes and no. Yes, the damage

Yes and no. Yes, the damage is stacked, but no the Iceburst is not going to do anywhere near double the damage of the Tempered. The damaged is stacked, but the bars are only very vague representations of damage & are not very accurate. This will not perfectly answer your question, but lets compare the Glacius to the Leviathan using the numbers reported in the wiki:

http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Leviathan_Blade
http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Glacius#

At Stratum 6 heated to L10

Levi vs Everything
Hit 1-2 -> 193-203

Glacius vs Weak Resistance
Hit 1-2 -> 270-292

Glacius vs Neutral Resistance
Hit 1-2 -> 198-203

Glacius vs Strong Resistance
Hit 1-2 -> 128-135

*see the wiki for all the numbers, I'm to lazy to type 3rd hit & charge stats

Oh, I see

Oh, I see. But remember, the sword (Icebrust Brandish) I'm getting is for targeting constructs and nothing else (RT runs). I see it now. Thanks! : D

yeah i find that glacius line

yeah i find that glacius line works well for constructs, just be careful about following monster attacks
Zombie Maul (hard to interrupt)
Retrode maul (hard to interrupt)
Howlitzer (new turret), can and will blow up in your face if you attack past killing blow
Scuttlebot (sometimes they will do the attack faster than usual)
Mecha knights (some versions pretty much ignore your attacks)
