UVs on Shield: Stun > Normal?

It is known that a status resist on a shield will help mitigate attacks that deal that status. For example, a shield with poison resist could take more hits from a toxilargo than one without.

My question is this: would a stun resist UV perform better than a normal defense UV against enemies that deal stun? I'm talking about Vanaduke, trojans, lumbers, etc.

I'm interested in this because the only times I find my Owlite shield getting wrecked is from normal attacks that also deal stun. So, would it be better to get a stun resist UV over a normal defense UV? I don't think anyone has posted any numbers on these, so any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Well I just crafted a stun high Owlite shield. I could bind it and level it up I suppose. I kinda just wanted to sell it and buy an Owlite with max, haha. Does anyone have a normal high that I can test mine against?
