Does the Shockburst Brandish Recipe work like most other 3* recipes, in that you can craft using an unbound 2* (brandish) and create and unbound 3* (shockburst brandish)?

Question my seem silly, but I know coin stuff follows different rules then normal purchases & I have never coin-purchased a recipe before. I am understand that the Sullivan recipes are auto-learned at purchase, but my question is about the items crafted with said recipes. I'm really not a fan of bomberman (love that OOO did it, just not my bag), so I would like to be sure before I invest the hours it will take me to get it.

Thanks

A simple search on the AH

A simple search on the AH would have produced several shockburst brandishes. Yes, they're unbound, and yes, they can be sold (and usually are in the normal price range for a 3-star-item). Same for the 3-star electro bomb.

So the cheapest/easiest way to a Volt Edge would be to buy a shockburst brandish (15-18000 cr) and get the 2 follow-up-recipes (shockbrand and volt edge) for coins, which will set you back 250 krogmo coins.

Sullivan's recipes are NOT auto-learned, btw, but merely bound to your character. And of you're in a hurry, get some of those coin boosters, they make grinding the required arena coins much more bearable.

I've seen them for sale in

I've seen them for sale in AH... but you can unbind swords with Vise these days so I was not sure. Didn't really pay much attention to the cost as I tend to craft all my own gear. I am waaaay too cheap to pay double what it would cost to make it my self (ok less then double in the case of krogmo coin stuff, due to expense of the game).

Auto-learn bound whatever the point is same, I meant the recipe can't be traded.

Yeah, thought about boosters when I was making my weapon module trinkets, but tooo bloody expensive. For 90,000 cr (6x boosts) I could get my 300 coins in ~4hrs if I lost every game & never had any bribe rewards... I'm hoping that I will like Lockdown.

Thanks for the info though.
