I've been noticing something and I'm asking for your help as well, and maybe if this is the right assumption that everyone is noticing this can be added to the wiki.
Besides the fact that it takes longer for higher starred equipment to level up then the lower starred ones, I've been noticing that the more I use a certain weapon the faster that specific weapon will level up. I had two swords that were both three stars and I used one more than the other. One went to ten much faster than the other. I both had them equipped for an extended period of time together before I upgraded one of them. Now, I don't know if the kind of style of sword or elemental and what not affects the heat gained.
Which it would explain that your armor and helm may gain the same amount of heat, or it could maybe vary depending on how much you were hit?
Then, the shield would gain some of the most heat because of being used more often. Those are just some quick thoughts that I wanted to throw out there and get some feedback.
Different subject, not really... but sort of-
Also, I have found not many people realize this about reviving in my adventures in the clockworks. When we die we lose 30% of our heat, even though it says that our heat is restored... really only 70% of our heat is restored. But, if someone alive gives up some of their health to revive another player they in turn get that 30% of heat that would have been lost of the dead player spent CE to revive themselves. It's important to revive the dead players at all possible times to keep the heat flowing amongst the group.
Now, about this particular instance that I haven't quite figured out yet is the heat is shared amongst the group, so if someone dies and they are revived by the alive person then does that 30% of the heat go to JUST that person or back into the group as a whole? Share your thoughts.
I can't answer everything but about heat upon revival by a friend, I believe that 30% goes to the friend that revived you. Not back to the party, mainly because heat in the first place is shared among all.
So if before you died:
Player A and B have 100 heat
Player B dies. Player A revives them
Player A now has 130 heat. Player B now has 70 heat.
If it worked out where heat went to the group as a whole then player A would end up with 130 heat and player B would end up back at 100 heat. That would seem like an exploitable way to gain heat easily.
