Not new to SK, but better here I guess. I know a few people with full sets of level ten, five-star gear, so they don't need heat. At the end of an arena, they'll kill themselves on the spikes and let me revive them, feeding me their heat (I suppose this is fairly common?). But I want to know, the icon doesn't seem to get any more, well, hot after a certain point, so I'm wondering is there a maximum amount of heat you can get? When heat is distributed, it seems like there isn't, but the icon stays the same, so I'm just wondering.

Not that I've ever seen. You

Not that I've ever seen. You can see that the other person's heat goes down until it will disappear eventually. It takes a lot of kills to get there though.

You have to remember that because its a percentage you get less and less each time you do it. So its really just diminishing returns.

Below is the number of times that you've revived them and the cumulative percentage of their heat that you've taken with each revive.

1 30.00
2 51.00
3 65.70
4 75.99
5 83.19
6 88.24
7 91.76
8 94.24
9 95.96
10 97.18
11 98.02
12 98.62
13 99.03
14 99.32
15 99.53

You can do this to multiple

You can do this to multiple people though. I had the awesome luck to be working on my Polaris and Mad Bomber helm in a T2 Arena with 3 players who were completely dimed on heat. They all dropped dead for me until they were pretty much tapped, and my heat ROCKETED up. I think each item gained a level and a half.

There is a theoretical

There is a theoretical maximum amount of heat that you can get, because only so much can drop in a level. However, the highest that the heat indicator goes is nowhere near that maximum. Getting ten times the heat threshold for a full heat indicator would probably be doable if you really tried to do it. Whether getting fifty times that threshold is theoretically possible depends on intricate details of the game's random number generator, and more to the point, whether it's theoretically possible for every single mob and chest in a level to drop a huge amount of heat.

Your heat isn't capped at the threshold for a full heat indicator. I've had depths where I had several times that much heat in a single level.
