[redacted], He scammed my 6k CE , GM Please Help
I gave him 6k CE , He was going to unbind his polaris , and give it to me . Then Suddenly , he blocked me and dissappeard , i am really depressed right now , if GM's could help me , i would appreciate it.

In the meantime it would still be interesting to see that [what was the word GM put to cover player's name already?] player banned.

I don't have the CE to debind then sell, so I just can't do it. Nobody will pay cash up front.
Well, almost nobody.
Out of curiosity...was the Polaris UVd up or something? You could have probably spent the 6000CE on building a Polaris and hitting up Punch until you got decent UVs.
Oh well. Caveat Emptor and all that. Welcome to hardcore economics 101.

y would anyone give someone 6k CE and not expect this to happen
Rule #1 of buying items, never pay unbinding fees
Welcome to the matrix.
Few rules you might like to take in mind
1.- Never trust anyone
2.- Never trust anyone
3.- Never trust anyone
4.- Never trust anyone
...
Just as a personal anecdote here...
I've crafted low-level items for new players. I do it a lot. I always ask for payment AFTER I've made the item for them. Sometimes if I'm missing a material, I'll ask them for it early, but I never take their crowns or CE until the crafting is done.
There ARE trustworthy people out there, but you need to be smart about who you trade with.
The GMs are around to stop spam, end harassment and squash bugs. It's the player's job to trade smartly.
Snipera , can you craft me antiqua?

Even if you are going to pay the unbinding fee up front, don't pay more than 4k CE. That's all he needs to unbind it. Pay the rest upon delivery of the item.
The problem is that if you're trying to find someone who will sell you something, that's a self-selecting sample that will be high on scammers. If only 1% of the playerbase is scammers, and another 1% are players who are trying to honestly sell the item that you're looking for, then if you find someone claiming to be willing to sell it, there's a 50% chance that it's a scammer.
I've done a number of trades at Basil along the lines of, I want to buy a Vog Cub Coat recipe from you for 27k, but you don't have 25k to buy it. If you have 10k, then I'll give you 15k, you buy the recipe, and then trade it to me for other 12k. Because that is a trade with whoever happens to be there at the time, scammers can't find a way to be disproportionately represented the way they can for trades in Haven. There's also the issue that someone who might be willing to risk a ban for 4k CE probably doesn't want to get banned over 15k crowns.

You need to understand that YOU are responsible for making the trades, the GMs cannot reimburse you for mistakes you have made--it's not their job.
Consider this a learning experience. Next time, you need to ask for collateral--something they will want back, to make sure the person follows through with the deal.
