So I know that 3D is the new big thing for some people. I'm actually kind of interested in it myself. But lacking the money for one of the big investment items (shutter glasses/monitor, polarized glasses/display, etc.) I'm left with good ol' anaglyph and my $3 plastic frames. Now, there are free drivers out there that work with most Direct3D games, but it sometimes causes problems with other programs that use DirectX to display stuff. I was wondering if there's any possibility that anaglyph 3D might make it into the game so that we can don our red/cyan glasses and see the game world pop out at us (or sink away, in the case of looking off the edges of the play area).

Well using things like

Well using things like nVidia's shutter tech you can do 3D in almost everything, as just an example. But inborn 3D effects such as anaglyph aren't common in games yet and I'd like to see it added. It's more of a secret wish really than a "make it or I'm out" thing.
