I've been playing a lot of blast network lately to save up some krogmo coins, and this is something that has been a big detriment to my enjoyment of the minigame. With bombs placed by your allies being just as much a threat as ones placed by your enemies, there's little difference between free for all and team games. Especially in games with more people, the threat of friendly fire makes teamwork with random people nearly impossible. My suggestion to make team games more fun would be to make friendly bombs stun instead of kill. That way there's still a good reason to avoid hitting your teammates, but if you do it's not that big a deal.
Friendly bombs in blast network should stun.
Other changes to keep team work risky, but reducing the teamkill insanity:
Make bombs not get bigger than, say, 7. Blast upgrades past that decrease the fuse, making it riskier for everyone, but lowering the odds of getting TK'd by someone who can't even see you.
Make it so friendly bombs can't trap you.
Have you people even played Bomberman? Because you know that SK PvP is just Bomberman, right? And in SK PvP, as in Bomberman before it, getting blown up by your teammates is (a) avoidable to an entirely reasonable extent, so long as you're minding your surroundings, and (b) hilarious.
Oh, I know, you're potentially losing two hundred precious imaginary moneybucks if TKs end up costing you the match, and then there's that all-important leaderboard ranking to think of! But a T2 delve will easily net a competent player ¢5k+, and if you're really concerned that TKs are dragging your ranking down, surely a few good rounds of FFA will fix that right up?
I disagree entirely. Particularly in a large game, TKs are not "avoidable to an entirely reasonable extent", any more than deaths from enemy bombs are. If anything, it can be HARDER to avoid allied bombs because you're so focused on the opposing team members. And, as Aquajag pointed out, it's entirely possible to kill an ally or be killed by one from off the screen if you've leveled up your bomb enough. Maybe some people enjoy dying left and right to friendly fire, but, in my opinion, it makes for a very frustrating game.
And that's really what I'm concerned about. I don't care about the cost in crowns or ranking points that comes with losing a match. I -and presumably the game developers- would like the process of racking up krogmo coins to be a fun one. Friendly fire is just not fun.

It is hilarious sometimes
Thats why you play guild teams whenever possible. Coordination (even if its on the fly) and timing are key components to surviving a team match. Pubs will always be full idiots... its a fact of the universe. I regularly get trapped by my own team in pub matches, and always see at least one person carpet bombing a side of the map with no enemies on it. I've even had team mates drop bombs in my path when I'm trying to get clear of an enemy one, which sets off a chain, and kills us both.
Why bother. I win blast network by just spamming the middle. 17 kills 2 deaths. My team wins. Making it so I only stun my temmates just makes an easy game easier. I mean you might as well give me a jet with a airstrike package.
Besides, my allies really need to just figure out how to get out of my way. I ussualy blame them if they walk into my bomb, though if I happen to trap them I immediately type "SORREH...*boom*"
And really, it's hillarious to watch the enemy team trap eachother. Quadtruple teamkill = epic.
top-down view... enough said. In bomberman it's top down in SK its like.. weirdly awkward and.. really the reason TK happens most of the time is the fact that you can see the whole map.
I vote optional view. have one that stays on the center of the map, so I don't have to use the minimap.
While I like this idea, it would only help to encourage the already spammy, carpetbombing nature of BN games.
