My internet is 256kbps connection speed (Very slow) and it's wireless... so not fully reliable as well. I have bad ping in the refugee camp, but it's playable. However, when I go into the clockworks, my ping is red and the game is completely unplayable. I also disconnect a lot when in the clockworks. So, just wondering if after some patches or something this game will possibly become playable for me? I have trouble playing all games online, but some MMOs are sort of playable so hoping this one might be too.
Before any of you say get better internet, where I live there isn't really much offered. I could get up to 5 mbps though, but I don't have $150 a month for that. Welcome to rural America.
Speed isn't so much of an issue as much as stability is. If you have at least 1mbps with a stable connection, then you should be able to play the game perfectly fine, with updates only taking a little bit longer.
