So what do you think of lockdown and what gear do you think will be great for it if they add 1 on 1 and for teamplay (lockdown) ? And what do you think will be ineffective?

I still want friends match.
I still want friends-only match. :(
But anyway, OOO is going to have their hands full making weapon-based PvP where the Gran Faust is not ridiculously overpowered. We'll never know until it actually comes out, though.

Going by the majority of
Going by the majority of armor in this game, it depends on the tiers. 1-4 you might see some variations, with elemental and shadow weapons being more effective then piercing.
In Tier 5, since nearly everyone has Vog as their go to end game armor, they'll probably be destroyed by piercing and shadow weapons. Mercurial might have a slight use in Lockdown due to the slight speed increase to help keep out of range of the majority of the sword public, and I imagine Gran Faust, Bombers, and Gunners will be the most effective since curse, crowd control, status effects, and range will wreck havoc on the battlefield.
