Firstly, I prefer team-based games instead of "free for all". Its just more fun.
Next. Free for all is mode where the least laggy player wins, in 99% cases its not me. Boring.
Guild-based team games. My guild doesn't have enough players most of the time and I don't want to change guilds just for PvP (and there is no option to be in 2 guilds at the same time, and there is no option to join a friend's PvP team (!!!) ).
Since one of the options simply doesn't work and another option doesn't give me what I want (team-based gameplay), I'm only left with random PvP teams (no "friend PvP teams" available).
Team PvP abuse protection - votekick requiring less than 50% votes (3 out of 8)

Perhaps this should be the suggestion? Random is, well, random. Plus I think it might be harsh to have someone votekicked out (and thus probably losing their crown fee and gaining no krogmo coin in return) if they are possibly just being bad at the game. Enabling people to come together and establish a team before entering BN would give you what you want without really affecting random people joining random teams.
Random team is what it is, if you don't like it you should avoid it, get some friends and make a guild to play guild team.
Doubt OOO will do anything about this as it will not earn them revenue.
