1) Assuming my searches were correct, this game is browsert / java based? Is that accurate?
2) Also, is there any matchmaking or lobbies or some sort of place to meet up with people to play with?
Any tips you could give to a person thinking about starting up in this game would be welcome.
Thank you kindly.

I'm a box full of advice today:
- The game is Java based, but is not played in your browser. Java opens up it's own window in which to play the game.
- There are both. You can play with a group of random people by pressing the 'Join a Party' button or you can use the 'Start a Party' button to create a private lobby and invite friends.
Hope that helps.

Ok, thanks. I'm definitely
Ok, thanks. I'm definitely seeing the energy resource needing management.
Trepper,
1) Java based, but not in your browser. It is played via a download.
2) The "Game" takes place within the dungeons. Through you can wander about and talk to other players in real-time in town, dungeons are instanced and you never have more than four players total playing together at once. Before you enter a dungeon you are automatically parsed through a match-making screen where you may choose to join a party in progress or start a new group (and possibly deny non-friends from joining you).
My biggest advice - use your energy sparingly. Clear each dungeon floor thoroughly, because CE will be your tightest resource initially. Try to avoid using revives - they consume large quantities of CE and gain you little. Often, you're better off simply quitting over using CE to revive. Experiment with different weapons and armor - they vary greatly in performance and situation, and you should try to find something you enjoy using.
