I have a razer deathadder mouse I'm trying to macro the side buttons to shield but nothing is showing up i can put any key just not them

This is a problem I'm also experiencing
It really seems a shame that I can't take advantage of the mouse buttons I have. It would make the game much more fun.
Well I can't help you with that mouse but why not just use left click for shield and right click for attack?
