Hey! I just wanted to see what is your opinion of my current arsenal and of the things im planning.

Currently i have this:----------And i want these:
Armor: Vitasuit Plus-----------Vog Cub Coat - for sword attack speed
Shield: Plate Shield-----------Barbarous Thorn Shield - for sword damage bonus
Helm: Spiral Plate Helm-----Vog Cub Cap - for MORE sword attack speed

WPSlot1: Vile Striker------------Dread Venom Striker - becouse of its speed / Leviathan blade in T3
WPSlot2: Toxic Needle----------Plauge Needle - against bosses, and if i have low health, and also cuz of its multishot, and no knockback

I saw many people using a Grey Owlite Shield or Leviathan Blade, but i just dont understand why are they better than these? And also, why do people say volcanic pepperbox is a sh*t?

Some general comments: - Vog

Some general comments:

- Vog set is good for fsc/vanaduke as it gives much needed fire resist
- Sword attack speed is beneficial for the slower swords like Divine Avenger but not needed for faster swinging swords like Levi/Brandish line.
- Barbarous thorn shield is a good offensive shield but will break far sooner than a Grey Owlite in most levels
- I've used the blitz needle and while it is great against trojans and vanaduke, I can't stand the lack of mobility
- Never tried vile striker so can't comment but the general consensus is that it's not very well liked outside of Jelly Palace

some minutes ago i was down

some minutes ago i was down with some guys at the royal jelly palace where i just changed my mind of my gamestyle fortunately for me its not too late, cuz i have only 2-stared stuff and a vile striker with a toxic needle. i realized that i like guns much more than swords!

i was looking around the wiki, read the gunslinger guide, and now i want a valiance with a plauge needle and maybe i will buy a 3rd weapon slot later.and for theese a justifier set and a grey owlite shield. what do you think about this? i wont have shadow resist, but my valiance is gonna be fast.

Guns: hmmm. Yeah, could work.

Guns: hmmm. Yeah, could work. One thing though: sorry but no valiance. As a gunslinger it is your job to specialize in damage types. Normal damage is a nono. For your second weapon slot, you should get a Polaris. They are an awesome gun, with knock-back, elemetal damage, and the chance to shock! They require a bit of practice though, because unless you are solo, you can't just spam the bullets. This will cause monsters to be knocked everywhere, and people will hate you. You need to be able to use the bullets to shape and corner mobs.

Shield: good choice. Elemental is very common, fire is one of the worst status effects and is commonly found in the Fire Storm Citadel, and shock is also one of the worst status effects.

Armor: don't go with justifier. The piercing defense it provides is no match for the elemental defense of the nameless set. Your toxic needle will not he helped by the ASI, but your Polaris sure will!

Current set up: No. What I suggest is get your owlite shield, and gear up for the ironclaw munitions factory. You're going to need to run it 5 times for a pulsar. Good IMF gear that is easy to obtain is a magic cloak and hood. A good gun for the IMF would be a firotech/cryotech/prismatech alchemer. (note: if you absolutely fall in love with your alchemer, and after using a pulsar decide that it's not that great, then stick with your alchemer). Good swords would be the wrench wand, fireburst/iceburst brandish, a searing edge (not that recommended), or any thing without a lot of knockback (you don't want to supercharged quicksilvers by pushing them onto shock grates).

A storm driver is the same as

A storm driver is the same as a pulsar isnt it? And even if thats a lil more powerfull, too much work, it doesnt worth it :D I wanted the justifier to have a little defense against both elemental and.piercing, but its true if i get a nameless set ill be untouchable by gremlins and construct, right?:D( thx for the advices)

No.

the Pulsar shots will actually explode, which deals damage to multiple enemies, so can destroy crowds way quicker than with a single target alchemer. The explosion provides knockback which can be used to shape crowds. As for the nameless set, Here are the monsters that do elemental.

Exploding blocks
Retrodes
Lumbers
Elemental mecha knights
Gun puppies
Charged quicksilvers
Element grates (commonly, but not only found in the IMF)
Shadow fire (found in the firestorm citadel)
Gremlin scorchers

Many of those monsters are very annoying. As for monsters that do piercing:

Wolvers
Slimes
Chromalisks
Floorspikes

None of those pose a very big threat other than Alpha wolvers. Ask some experts and even they will agree that piercing defense is waaaay less important than elemental.

Your welcome. Also, if you want to, look up videos of the Polaris/gigawatt pulsar/kilowatt pulsar/pulsar in use. That might help.
