Tired of waiting for arenas? Why not pay 20ce to the elevator keeper to change the path for you?

Another option:

Place an energy lever next to the elevator.

Great, another way to waste energy and jack up the CE price.

Why not make it cost crowns?

Why not make it cost crowns? The Game needs more crown sinks

I guess. but then it can

I guess. but then it can kinda defeat the purpose of venturing. I think people would just not use the lever and wait anyway. Then Three rings would see this and change it so you had to use the lever to change the gate whatsoever. Creating a surplus of pissed off people.

Nope, actually not. That's

Nope, actually not. That's just assuming a direct connection between "something I don't like" and "something that sounds bad for everyone" without anything in between. You know like...: "I don't like ducks" + "Ducks can theoretically [poop] on your hat" => "We need to go to the park and shoot all the ducks". Sounds reasonable ;)

There's a lot of players around that wouldn't mind paying some ce for that, especially when the gate is being mean (like path changing the same moment it rotates, skipping the lvl they were waiting for). It'd also be a good way to burn the excess ME for "veterans" that only do one run a day (or even just half a run + a little pvp) and don't usually die. "We" have been "throwing" twack hammers at newbies for fun for a long time now and it's starting to get boring plus we're running out of newbies.

(And I think I'd enjoy sporadic confused discussions about who turned it into what direction and how the heck we managed to get the same lvl we started with after everyone spent ce xD.)

I think it either needs to

I think it either needs to remain the same (withOUT "accidental" gate skipping, its really annoying), or it needs an option to select next gate, or it needs faster gate switching, like 1 minute per gate. So I don't have to sit on my chair for 30-50 minutes waiting for arena to pop up.
All-arena gate would fix this issue but that would immediately become the most populated place - arenas are way more fun that any other level, IMO.

20 ce?

i dont know 20 is a hefty price for just chaging the gate if u were to have that option it should be around the 3-5 mark.

It should cost crowns to rotate the gates...

My prices:
T1 - 200cr
T2 - 400cr
T3 - 1000cr

Why? Because you'd want to go to an arena anyway and the reason is profit in the form of crowns. Cutting into your profit makes you think twice about it.
Also, this feature would be disabled for "?" floors.

@arasuki. Thank yah. @ufna.

@arasuki. Thank yah.
@ufna. Ducks you say... a hidden measage pretaining to my name prehaps? Hmm...
What you said was not true. Getting that out there. My point is that people wouldn't use the feature. Why pay to change a gate when you can just wait? I understsnd that "veterans" basicaly want to burn energy and save time, but that certianaly affects society in a negative manner. Less energy=higher CE price. Of course, you don't care, you know like...: "I don't like ducks" + "Ducks can theoretically [poop] on your hat" => "We need to go to the park and shoot all the ducks". Sounds reasonable :P

The better solutions would be to make normal levels more fun, and make gates switch faster.
