Yup, lets get together and make up some Ideas to put into the suggestion forum!

Costume Recipes (crown only and Mat sink)

A simple crown sink that doesn't give us any bonus's but looking nice, and cost crowns, what more do we need?

More "Mini-Games"

50 crown quick shot showdown anyone? winner gets 100 crowns simple, quick easy, and fun?
I hate to say it....Puzzle Racing, two players enter for 200 crowns, think krogmo, but they race each other to complete the puzzle map before the other?
Spiral Knights Kart Racing?.....Why not? if they can rip off bomber-man, why not hit up another franchise XD

Well that's just some, so lets make up some more, and I'll submit all the best in a post for Suggestions!

Crown Sinks

Naruchico- you know you did not make a Crown Sink suggestion. lol-

Crown Sinks means that there is less Crowns after the event than before. If you have a showdown and each player puts up 50; then the winner must receive LESS than 100 or both players must pay a registration fee on top of the 50 Cr buy-in.

A thought is to have a smelt where you can pay 100-500 Cr to have your equip reconverted into energy; regardless whether it is bound or not. Maybe something like 50% CE + 10% Mist of the original CE Cost to transmute. Too high Crown cost and the conversion is moot. It will reduce the clutter of useless equip where the ones sold actually has value. e.g. a lvl 3 equip would yield 100 CE and 20 ME. This item cost the player 250 Energy + 6400 Cr + Mat to produce. So the return is actually less than the input.

Calculation:
Recipe costs: 1k Cr (lvl 2) + 4k Cr (lvl 3) = 5k
Transmute costs: 400 Cr + 50 Energy + 1k Cr + 200 Energy + materials = 1400 Cr + 250 Energy + Mat

It gives players an opportunity to craft and recraft if they don't like the UV without cluttering the market with useless equip and not drain CE from the economy too quickly; but still encourages players to spend CE; and overall drains Cr from the economy.

Naruchio did make a good

Naruchio did make a good suggestion with the costume crafting.

Recipe from a vendor - cr sink
crafting the item itself - costs more cr + mats (preferrably lots of mats), but no CE, since it is technically a 0 star item.

Make unbinding cost crowns

Make unbinding cost crowns and UV addition cost CE. This should lower the CE price in market while still keep the greedy OOO Rings happy by not making players quit due to excessive grinding. (Each player that doesn't quit means a potential source of income for OOO Rings).

challenge elevator/room
no mats or Cr drop, cost a few hundred crown-1k crown to enter
specific challenges give you a certain costume recipe(bound/auto-learnt) to show youve beaten that challenge(maybe crafting that costume is as above, no ce + a ton of mats)can only craft the 1 costume which cant be unbound.
scoreboard for most kills, longest survived, avg DPS, highest hit in solo or party mode
can choose your enemy theme or combined theme(all have their own scoreboards) by adding crystals or by just clicking the option of which theme.

doubt anything like it would be added, just always like the idea of a survival room, waves and waves until death.

What about material

What about material sinks?

Maybe unbinding can have some or all of the item's materials added to the CE cost.

But then, what would happen with token rewards...

...Maybe have unbinding cost their respective tokens as well?

Craftable Mist Tank

I've suggested this before.

Craftable mist tank:
On use: adds 50 ME.

Cost:
50 CE + 1000 cr + mats (preferably ones that currently see little use)

Note that this does not allow you to make energy (since it costs as much as it gives), but it does allow a player to save ME that he/she doesn't use for "a rainy day", at the cost of crowns and mats.

To prevent abuse these tanks should not be tradeable, and probably should expire after some time (say two weeks) to prevent hoarding.

i like the costume and coin gun ideas

-ther was that armor gear in twilight princess, that reduced money instead of health, maybe could connect/embed(as in fill gear with crowns) all kinda gear with crowns to add more functions to it(e.g power-up as in more dmg/def/hp/w.e, special move, extra combo, awesome sauce looks/colors/special graphics, etc..coin gun would be either a special move or a unique weapon then)

as a side effect, knights with gear, that is filled with too many crowns, could be having speed penalties
unbinding could remove all crowns just like with heat

i know its a silly idea, since such a feature would make more sense with energy, but meh, krogmo gets bribed with energy instead of crowns too >.>

Strongly in favour of

Strongly in favour of costume-only craftables; as well as being a good Cr sink, it'd add some welcome visual variety to the game. I've previously suggested costume-only versions of "functional" recipes you've already learned as a Crown-sink, too, for people who prefer the look of earlier pieces in a given line.

Otherwise...ehhhhh, nah. The puzzle race thing, if it's what it sounds like - running a maze-like level before the other player - could very easily be quickly dominated by players who'd learned the various mazes. Kart racing is exactly not what I want out of SK, and doesn't really gel with the rest of the game the way the Coliseum does - we've not seen a single vehicle beyond the spaceship.

I had a dumb but potentially fun idea for a PvP minigame - Spiral Jousting. Two Knights at opposing ends of a run, riding rocket sleds. There's a quick countdown, and an action is chosen by each player (attack, block, dodge...or something similar, you get the idea). It's basically rock-paper-scissors but it could look hilarious, matches would be over quickly, and it'd be a Krogmo-esque Crown sink.

@gigafreak

The use is in converting ME to a tank, that can be used at a later moment. This is mostly useful for players that do not have time to play everyday, but might want to play some extra on the weekend or something.

How about RIDICULOUSLY high

How about RIDICULOUSLY high stakes blast arena games?
10k crowns to enter, winner gets 15k, Krogmo Frog gets 5k.

Personal color changers NPC.

Personal color changers NPC. Offers all the basic colors you can choose from at knight creation for a price. Offers some premium colors (ex: white and black) that are not available at creation at a higher price.

Armor/weapon dying NPC. Should be fairly obvious but dyes some of the armor/weapon another color. Could offer 2 different parts to dye for most armors, the main armor and the accent for it (ex: Vog and the glowing magma accent on the ears of the cap). Weapons could be done the same way but some parts would have to stay the same color for PvP reasons... most notable is the Brandish 5* center color and the status bombs. Again basic colors are lower priced then the premium colors.

Guild Hall upgrades. Add either a NPC or a machine that sells permanent upgrades to a guild hall. 50k minimum for the upgrades. It can be almost anything you want but some ideas are: the various NPC vendors, a Krogmo Coin Alchemy Machine, a dye and personal color vendor like I mentioned above, etc.

This one I don't think I'd personally use much but I know a lot of people would. Create houses for the knights that are connected via the trade chat and their own local chat. Getting a house costs crowns and the size could be upgraded with more crowns. After that you can craft/buy furniture items for it. Could have another basic NPC furniture recipe merchant in Haven and Basil's gf could sell the furniture recipes at the same depths Basil does (name her Ginger just for giggles). Could create unique furniture that is tied to boss tokens that bind upon receiving. As for the crafting, just straight creation... not the 2* becomes 3* becomes 4* like for equipment.

Other then the actual crafting of the furniture items all the above should use just crowns.

I think the most obvious

I think the most obvious thing to do is change the CE cost for slot upgrades to crowns. But it won't happen, OOO is running a business, the business is selling CE for people to use.

I think the most obvious

I think the most obvious thing to do is change the CE cost for slot upgrades to crowns. But it won't happen, OOO is running a business, the business is selling CE for people to use.

All the uses of CE in haven could be converted to crowns without OOO losing any CE sales. The important thing to realize is that the only way crowns (or materials) get fountained into the game is by running gates, and running gates *always* uses energy. So, say that currently 50% of all gates are run with mist, the other 50% is with CE. Then, if you changed all CE prices in haven to be about 13000cr per 100CE, players would end up having to sink enough crowns to equal the same amount of energy OOO currently get. Of course, OOO would need to see just how much CE gets sunk per crown fountained, it probably isn't 50% and they would also need to take into account that such a large increase in sunk crowns would cause the exchange rate to drop. My guess is that OOO would only need to use about an conversion factor of 7.5kcr to 10kcr to end up sinking the same amount of CE.

People would have to play more to get the things they want, but they would be able to buy CE with crowns much easier. This could also change the mindset of CE buyers to be closer to OOO's other game (puzzle pirates) were people often buy CE (doubloons) primarily to get crowns (PoE), rather than as a side effect.

Copypasta from my thread

A Roulette mode - The player can choose to activate this mode before entering any clockwork level. It will randomise the equipment of anything selected, for example - it can randomise The two armour slots, The Shield, and The 4 weapon slots (assuming that they are unlocked). This can be beneficial in a number of ways, not only will it act as a crown sink, as you have to pay for each new stratum, and for each item type you want to randomise. The level of the item will be set by the stratum, E.g. Stratum 1 will have 1*, level 0, stratum 6 will have 5* level 10, this would almost be a "challenge" mode for those who have solo'd the entire game, and are getting bored, and give them a chance to experience new weapon combinations. The heat gained on these items will be turned back into crowns by the Roulette company at the end of the round, HOWEVER, because these weapons are not bound to you, heat loss is extremely easy, if you faint during a mission, the player who revives you gets 100% of your heat. Players who are on T1 or T2 cannot progress further than those tiers, as the weapons are not bound to them, thus they cannot use this mode to unlock further in the game

As a side note I really like the idea of a crown crafted costume and Repainting your knight (Perhaps call it the "War paint shop"?)
