T3 monsters spawning in T2, rare occurrence?

I'm not sure how wiki editors work or what this wiki forum section does but I've encountered Darkfang Thwackers and Darkfang Scrochers in T2 in a mini-arena (the one where you pay 3 ME to open).

As you can see it's not in T3 because of my depth level and vials.

I'd like for someone to edit the Gremlin page that there's a rare occurrence of finding these monsters in T2.

The 'mini-arena' you describe is called a Danger Room. According to the wiki, they always include monsters from one tier higher.

I think the majority of the

I think the majority of the monsters will be from the next strata. So if you are in Tier 2/Strata 3 you'll mostly get Tier 2/Strata 4 monsters. Whereas if you are in Tier 2/Strata 4 you'll mostly get Tier 3/Strata 5 monsters.

The monsters will do more damage and have higher defenses, what one would expect for monsters imported from deeper in the clockworks. A couple of the monsters can also be efrom the current strata, but it is a rarity and their offense/defense doesn't necessarily match the monsters at that depth.

Once I found a teleporting wolver in a T2 wolver den (no danger rooms there, of course). Other than that, no, never.
