Hi All,

this has been posted on the Steam forums as well for SK but no one knows whats going on.

When you launch the game, you're prompted to enable access for assisted devices; but then when you continue a MAC TextEdit app opens to a blank page. I have even closed down Steam (which is difficult because it thinks that SK is running and asks you to close it but there is no app to close - even in the Activity Monitor).

Can anyone let me know whats going on because i am not having much luck on the game-playing front using MAC.

It appears the Steam install botches one of the file permissions needed to launch the game.

Here's my fix (denotes a command you type into Terminal):
Open Terminal.app
cd "/Users/[yourID]/Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/common/spiral knights" chmod u+x run.sh

Now, you should be able to launch correctly from Steam. Or, while you're there, just type ./run.sh to start it, too.
