Alright. This is just pathetic. Do you guys see what you're doing?
As far as this auction goes, I sold it. I looked around and decided how much I wanted to sell it for. I'm not sure why anyone cares what I charged or why I went through with it. As it stands, I honestly could not care less. I'm already in 5* gear all around, including trinkets and full weapon loadouts. I've soloed Vanaduke, blah blah. I can afford everything I need even if I'm getting "ripped off". The only thing I haven't done in Spiral Knights? Exactly what you're all doing here. Spending every waking moment in Haven and on the forums constantly scraping together money through every option available. And for what? Some slightly better UV's than you already have? This is what you aspire to? Spending more time in Haven and on the forums than in actual combat, constantly tweaking and adjusting your numbers for content that you've done into the ground? Sure, maybe Three Rings will eventually update the game. Aside from personal concerns with the economics of the game, I think they do a good job putting things together (although at a sluggish pace and rather...maliciously). Are you really satisfied that you spent every waking moment playing the economics of a free to play game so you can kill the next boss 30 seconds faster? "Ripping people off", as it were, so you can sit around wondering when you'll get a chance to use what you have?
If that's the game you want to play, fine. Perhaps I'm not to judge. But I can't help but find it amusing, that the person who is least upset by this altercation, is the person who sold an item for 1/4th of its value, as it were. The only reason I felt the need to say anything at all is just by how sad this display made me. I have all the CE I'll ever need. I probably won't even be here in a month. I quit a few months ago, and after coming back to enjoy a game with friends, its quickly lost its luster for me again. Given that the only Tier 3 Boss that was here when I last played is the only Tier 3 boss here still, It doesn't seem like I was missing much. I'll probably step away before I'm spending most of my time trying to bend the market of this game to my will, only to have nothing to do with it. What you all want to do is entirely up to you.
Now please, don't let me stop you all from being complete [jerks] of human beings to each other any longer.
