mines levithan blade
what you<strong> fave / the sword you want most
I lub my Levi too :D
Carrying a Levi means that I do neutral damage to everything, opening up three slots for bombs.
Starting to see a pattern here...
Really you guys? A Levi? That's like me asking "Hey guys what's your favorite snack?" and you saying "saltine crackers"
I really want the barbarous thorn blade.
the stratum are all situational so swapping out swords for the lvls is normal BUT~ i find that i never switch out my BTB...
I'm guessing none of you tried another sword? since levi is basically a my-first-sword. yes, it does decent damage, but specialising deals 20-40% more damage than it. Plus some noobs spam-use its special attack which is rediculous annoying :P and lethal..... to allied team members :P
But in answer to your question, mine is my Gran Faust
Why? because DA is overused (not saying i don't use and love it :P ), but my GF dominates all those jellies and gremlins better than any other sword in the game :D
thank you llamaboiz2 (now i'm super excited for a barbarous thorn blade :D) and randomthing
I've tried other swords but when i leave out my levi, i always get caught in situations where i regret not bringing it :(
@Dilbert77 More like chocolate-coated awesome wrapped in bacon.

@randomthing While some players are like that, a good Levi user can save you. Several times I've saved someone stuck, shield near-broken, in a horde of enemies by using the charge attack. Occasionally, I will knock something into someone, but I always reimburse them with a health capsule for their troubles.
"It isn't the sword that makes the knight, but the knight that makes the sword."
@ZeroSoul I changed my mind. it's more like saltine crackers AND a glass of water.
Maybe Levi since there was a long period where I just solo almost everything with it being my most trusted weapon.
BTB, it has so much style, and the attack pattern is so cool (and useful) ... Like llamaboiz2, I almost never switch it out.
Else I love Levi charge attack for it's usefulness against gun puppies and for soloing but only 4 slots (3 specialized weapons + guns) + often in team = no Levi.
I have twelve 5* swords and Levi is still my favorite :)
And there are times when I've saved other knights stuck in corners with their shield broken and at low life by massacring every mob around them.
With Maximum damage on my swords my Glacius does around 400-400-500 on the normal combo and around 700 for the initial hit on the charge attack with 200 damage explosions (to enemy's weak to it of course). Zombies die in 5 hits, or just get straight out demolished in a Vortex when I charge attack them followed by second and third hits.
Oh and I have an Acheron and BTB that I switch between bringing, mostly bringing the BTB, so that I'm always at least neutral to enemies as well.
Tell me, how much damage does your Levi do?
Also, wasting a pill every time you throw a mob into another knight hardly seems like it turns the situation into a good one.
On topic, my favorite weapon has to be Glacius. Honorable mention going to BTB.
It's just so fun to gimp Trojans with Glacius. And by that I mean, if they're frozen you can attack them from the side with the charge attack and get the first explosion to hit. So sometimes to break their freeze with the initial hit only to re-freeze them with the first explosion.
Glacius is a better sword than Leviathan in most situations. Love, however, isn't so rational. I love my Leviathan. I like my Glacius :P

I only have four 5* swords, and I still love my Levi too. It pairs well with my three 5* guns.
DA & Acheron are tied for second though!
Question about the levi, why does the hazy ribbon only show on foggy/snowy levels?
The Levi line is awesome for solo which is what I have spent most of my time doing. As long as you plan your shots the charge is not an issue for group work either. If you can corner/trap(shivermist buster) your enemy the triple hit can deliver epic damage. I do, however, plan on doing more 2 swing heavy sword work because it is fun, but for now Levi is my "A" game.
I would me much more interested in elemental or shadow swords if they did pure damage (instead of split). Like an energy sword (think Thundarr's Sunsword) or a magic blade made entirely of hate and fueled by the slaughtered souls of mewkats... Then it would be more tempting for me to leave the Levi behind in favor of a 3 sword (shadow, elemental, piercing) loadout.
@Twest
I think that is just ghosting from being lazy and using the same model for both the Levi and the CIV. I think that is just where they did not quite get rid of the CIV's chain.
I made a leviathan as my first 5* and it would still be my all time favorite if it could protect me from devilites and the greaver spam. You just can't kite T3 greavers, you have to attack them to interrupt their own attacks, so I feel safer with a final flourish and the massive arc of the first swing it gives. Also good against Alpha-Wolvers
It's not as effective against Constructs or Jellies but can handle gremlins very well. For the former two I can bring a Divine Avenger or Gran Faust to compensate, depending on the upcoming levels.
@Silphy
The Levi is great for a large group of greavers. As soon as I see them I start charging and running away. Just before they overtake you, release the charge. Rinse and repeat. You just have to be quick enough (or have enough CTR) to get the charge done before they close the distance.
I have a levi and I don't agree. Sure it sounds lovely on paper but have you tried your theory on 7+ T3 shock greavers without losing health and always getting that first charge off perfectly? They don't attack in perfect unison so one can attack if your one charge misses. Try to win after you miss one attack and you're shocked for 10 seconds.
If you rely on the charge attack of a sword to save your life shock or fire will kill you eventually.
I think even my two new elite sword focus trinkets won't change that, though I admit I haven't tried since.
I just got my sealed sword two days ago and I'am loving it. I find that it even out performs my cold iron carver which is supposed to be one star ahead of the sealed sword. I love being able to take out big mobs (especially lumbers and trojans) in seconds.
My favorite part of the sword is that sometimes I get stuck in the corners of arenas with 10 or more mobs trying to kill me. With any other weapon I would be dead. With my sealed sword I can bat them back and punch a whole right through them to make a narrow escape. Man I just gotta love this sword.
Let's think about it for a minute:
1) What are my most hated ennemies?
- Devilites
- Greavers
- Cats
2) What is the best weapon to deal with all of those?
BTB
The only problem with BTB is that there are a lot of constructs and slimes around, but polaris deals amazingly well with constructs and for slimes, well Grand Faust will fill the gap in nicely.
Leaves you with a free weapon slot for whatever you like (a bomb perhaps?)
@jeango I'd hate to be in your team in jelly palace :P can't stand anyone who spam uses a polaris (don't get me wrong, its a great gun but people spam using it is just as lethal to the allied players as noobs spam-using levi charge attacks :P )
On the other hand its nice to see someone else who doesn't consider the levi to be "the awezomnest waepon". I've herd great things about BTB but can't stand the piercing sword attack patteren personally, my grand flourish never even made it to final flourish before I gave up on it (hopes they release a heavy sword with piercing damage :D )
@Tbigsby Glad to see your liking you sealed sword now :D
After so much time wasted on the game the only sword that i consider to be vital is the Flourish kind. No other sword performs better against greavers. They should call it Batsbegone.
I can't decide if i love my Diving Avenger or my Voltedge more. I use the DA more but the Voltedge is just so satisfying. Plus I like seeing those awesome orange colors and you don't get that with the Leviathan blade.
I absolutely love my Combuster and Glacius, and the current sword I want most is the Voltedge...
Against everything else, have to agree with others on the BTB, although when I can I actually use a DBB more if there are no greavers....
My Levi <3
