how do you sell sparks for tokens?

I don't know what you mean, but....

I don't really understand your question, but I don't think you can do any such thing, certainly not if by 'sparks' you mean 'heat'.

Sparks---like the Primal

Sparks---like the Primal Spark etc.---ARE tokens. They appear under the tokens label in your inventory.

Go to the Token Trader in the Haven Bazaar, and you can trade those tokens/sparks for items. Please keep in mind that you have to have the right kind of token to get the proper item. If you do not have Jelly Tokens, you cannot trade for Sealed Sword, etc.
