As we all know, nearly all rare monsters don't have any unique drops.
So here's my suggestion: it would be nice if rare monsters could drop a costume item, that resembles the monster it was dropped from.
Drop rate could be the same as the heart pendants from love puppy.
Or probably i'm just making up an excuse for adding cat costume for non-beta players...
Who knows...

+1. Want cool costume gear, and costumes need more variety. So far, they can only be obtained by cash or BN bribing. or just bombheads. Bombheads are everywhere...

If costumes were drop-able, they'd eventually be everywhere and become real cheap. Having buy-only items makes them unique, expensive and WANTED.
But I have to agree, unique monsters need better drops. Currently they're dropping same stuff everyone does (I know, I killed a love puppy... twice,,, *sniff* still feel horrible about it, and it didn't drop anything interesting either time, just coins and heat, once I saw it drop a health pendant but back then it got bound upon picking up and I couldn't buy it from my mate).
The only thing with unique monsters you should consider: they can be cloned. And cloners might regret it later, as exploiting is banable abuse.

They're still rare. Similar chance of getting a weapon from them, just it's a costume instead.
