For those who don't have the time to play a whole depth, at a cost (either energy or crowns), it would be nice to be able to go directly from Haven to a Terminal within a Tier, without needing to rely on friends or members of guilds.

Due to my timezone and when I can play, there's hardly anyone else on to join, and for example, Vanaduke runs take far too long when starting from depth 18.

It would have to have a similar cost in energy to avoid abuse by players to farm the richer stratums.

It'd be too easy to collect recipes and no one would play upper levels because of the better rewards.
Find a good guild that happens to play the same time you do, it shouldn't be that hard.

Hrmm...

It wouldn't be easier, recipe-wise, as when you port into a terminal you can't access them. If you had the price of Terminal-porting be the energy price for each lift between your closest town and that terminal, you would in effect be sacrificing the loot you would get on those levels, making the lower levels less lucrative, comparatively. If you spread the lower-level loot over both upper and lower halves of the tier, it doesn't even come close to balancing.

If you made it so that you could only do this in a gate and tier you had already cleared, I can see it actually being an interesting idea. It makes farming boss tokens easier, but doesn't increase the frequency with which you can do such, by demanding an energy-payment.

I could probably get behind this.

I'd quite happily spend the shortfall on energy to do this. E.g 50 energy for T3. The sacrifice of missing out on recipes and loot in the first stratum of the tier is worth it for me to have this option.
