Hi there, I'm Michael99. I'm making this thread for all of those out there who wish to ask questions, or want help in-game. Now, while I don't consider myself a complete expert like some others I know, I'm pretty sure that I know enough to help out most players.

Let's get this started :D

Write your questions down below here, and if you require help in-game, or you just want to do a run, and you're not sure that you will be able to get through, then tell me in game(I am michaelb ), and I'll gladly help(I may not be on at all times, becuse the stupid parental controls force me off, rather inconveniently).

Credentials:

Vog Cub Cap
Skolver Coat
Grey Owlite Shield/Swiftstrike Buckler
Acheron
Fearless Rigadoon
Heavy Deconstructor
Plasma Capacitor
Elite Bomb Focus Module
Quick Strike Module

and... my other weapons will vary depending on where I am.

Shoot! Remember, I accept pretty much any question-I do browse the wiki quite a bit.

There is a thread about how long status effects last, I do believe its somewhere in the arsenal area, but time being affected by any status is reliant on your resistance to the status. My sister uses a Faust and uses the charge all the time, but due to her divine veil she is able to use her secondary weapon still and she gets cursed for 30 seconds. She was in a depth with anoher Faust user and they had no curse protection and could not use any other weapons and was cursed for far more than 30 seconds.

Go down deep into Moorcraft Manor, where access to Tier 2 is found. That way, you can fight the bosses known as:

Roarmulus Twins - The Twin Turrets
Royal Jelly - The Royal King of the Jellys

Well, I think that first you

Well, I think that first you should try to familiarize yourself with the boosts that the enemies have;
The ones in those bosses are devilish. Also, try to get a weapon type that you don't already have.
And if you are set on becoming a swordie or a gunslinger, begin to get more of that weapon-it's
good to start to develop your prominent skills about then :D

Ever Changing

The Clockworks are always changing- how do you know where the different bosses are? Like, for example, fighting the Roarmuli sounds fun, where do I have to go/look for to find them?

How gates are formed

I do not understand the concept of new gates being formed. So since new gates are always being formed, the game never ends? And am I correct that depending on minerals that are deposited, levels are randomly generated?

Alchemy and Crafting

I dont understand how to use materials I have gained to craft recipes. I purchased a recipe and have plenty of items that can be used for alchemy, but I have no idea what to do.

Bosses

I have quite a bit of 3* equipment and have never encountered a boss! I have been to the candlestick keep, but that is about it. Is there any way to get to the boss floors in particular?

@Kewlkid, just look at the

@Kewlkid, just look at the gate map !!!
All the bosses are on the deepest level of the second stratum of a given tier, and they all have a specific type (Jelly for JK, Beast for Snarby, etc.)

So let's say you want to beat Snarbolax, look at all gates with beast as second stratum of Tier 1, and then for each of those check the deepest level of that stratum (i.e. level 7 in this case) and check if it is Snarbolax or not (actually most levels leading from a Terminal to a boss also have a distinctive name).

@Zeldaavien: Around haven,

@Zeldaavien: Around haven, you will see machines that have screens on them, and also glowing energy symbols on them. these can be accessed by standing near one and pressing "attack". Of course, to craft, you will need the recipe of the item that you are wishing to make, and of course the required material, crowns and energy. Sometimes recipes will require you to have a piece of equipment. Sometimes the piece of equipment will be required to have a certain amount of heat to alchemize.

@Spiralcraig: When minerals are deposited, they may change the type of enemy seen in a stratum. Here are the types of enemies, and the required amounts of minerals needed to create them: http://wiki.spiralknights.com/monster

Yes, the game never ends, assuming that the developers stop it. The gates keep cycling, over and over.
