ran afoul of a virus and had to reinstall my OS, now getting everything else back up and running... all the important system stuff is reinstalled and up to date, graphics, browser, java, etc... now getting to the real reason to own a PC: the gaming!
The spiral knights installer appears to be frozen, it says "downloading control files..." and there is no progress bar. I am guessing this isnt normal but not sure what I can do about getting it fixed. Can someone point me in the right direction?
Have you read the stickied thread in the Technical Support section? It helps with this type of troubleshooting----I'm assuming that you have some new antivirus software ;)
That software might be what's preventing you from downloading SK. The Tech Support sticky has some basic instructions for putting exceptions in your antivirus software to let SK through.
