Upon first installing the game from Steam, when it loaded up and finished the downloading/patching, I received the Premature EOF error. The suggested solution is to replace the digest and getdown files with the ones on the download website. Upon doing this, I reopened the game to receive a message telling me that my digest file was invalid. I deleted and redownloaded the digest file, and the client opened for a second, before telling me I need to patch. And it did. When I next reopened it, I got the "invalid digest file" message again. I've tried deleting and reinstalling the game three times on Steam, and once on the on-site client, to no success. Anyone have any advice?

Theres something acting as a

Theres something acting as a proxy server thats messing with the file in transit.

You can go through proxify.com to get around the weirdness and save the files manually.

The file links are:
http://download.threerings.net/spiral/20110906154737/digest.txt
http://download.threerings.net/spiral/20110906154737/getdown.txt

Also, change the info in version.txt to 20110906154737 it if still gives you grief after that.
