I had just pressed to go down a level and the game froze; I closed the application, and now when I attempt to log on, it just stays at "Logging on...". The game isn't frozen, it just can't seem to connect to the server.
With that in mind, how does Spiral Knights work, server wise? Is there a way to check to see the status of the server?
Ditto, also having this problem.
Usually when the server is down you are given a message when attempting to log-in, right now though we seem to be lacking said message.
I also experienced this problem. Two of my friends also experienced this problem. However, after a long time they were able to log back in. It's rather annoying.
Exact same problem also. I think the server is down.
Which is really ironic. I play about 4 MMO games, and all of them are down for updates/maintenance. Makes tonight very boring. I JUST used a mist canister also, so if it doesn't come up soon, I am going to waste quite a bit of energy.

i was able to log in after a long wait, so it seems like bad lagg.
Seems to be systemic, that's what happened to me as well. Froze when trying to enter the clockworks. But not a hard freeze could still pull up the options window and f2 for help. But just had a big black screen. Quit out and now cant get back in.
Edit: Looks like a momentary Hickup just logged in.
same here, paid my 10 energy to go further down, nothig happened, played animation of elevator, and poof nothing. closed app, restarted connection, computer, no bang.

Yep, seems the server dropped a few players (Or completely, I cant tell) for a while. Back in.

AGH. The server reset my char's energy to about five minute before I used my Mist canister, and now my Mist canister is gone (From both my inventory and Mail) and I lost all 100 of that energy!
No more Spiral Knights today, I guess.
Rex, give me your character name and I'll spot you 100 energy when I eventually get on. :)
