I'm trying to level my 4* gear to 10 so i can't upgrade them to 5*, but its taking forever to do!
can anyone offer any tips to leveling gear besides level one at a time because when i try that i either die alot or get kicked from groups.

can't find any fsc runs right now and it doesn't give loads of heat. i get hardly any growth on my gear levels at lvl 8 and 9 after a full run.

Except it does. You don't get much growth for 8-10 because it costs so much heat.

...it's really that slow. :D
Levels after the clockwork terminal have significantly more heat/crowns.
Don't even think of buying the heat amplifier. It's not worth it.
And it's probably not a good idea to level stuff one at a time. Since you will probably be doing the same amount of work anyway.

It is faster to level one
It is faster to level one item at a time if you're concentrating on upgrading that item (say from 4* to 5*). Yes, to level three items from 0 to 10 all at the same time and leveling them one at a time takes the same amount of heat, and possibly the same amount of "work". However, if you want to quickly upgrade an item from 4* to 5*, it's best to heat only that item because that will allow you to upgrade the item to the next tier faster.

What Dark Ritual?
Try one item.
When leveling a four star item in FSC, startin at D24, if 3 people give you their heat, it WILL reach heat 10 at the end of D27 if it keeps being heated by our party. I've done it before.
Try Jelly if you can't do FSC, will be slower, in a sense.
I can also SELL you my heat.
