Random Idea for ME

Well I am not really sure if there have been other forum posts relating to this idea as I have just started playing the games recently, but has there been any ideas about expanding the ME limit? Nothing crazy that would make it stupid to buy energy, but small expansions to it as you get further along in the Clockwork Tiers to offset the cost of crafting, and for people like me, the cost of reviving :( What i was thinking is maybe a certain difficult quest at the beginning of each new tier, that when completed would expand the ME limit by 50, up to a final total of 200. Another option would be to complete X number of Danger Rooms in the new tier.

Any additional ideas or comments would me much appreciated.

if its related the energy,

if its related the energy, from ME regeneration to ME capacity increases, it's been suggested in one form or another also there is a forum search bar you could use...

the issue you must realize is that ME is a free resource, and any increase in a free resource hurts OOO's bottom line since players will be less interested in paying for CE, the energy bought with real money.

my suggestion is to play daily only on ME, buy CE via crowns gotten from using ME in the clockworks, use CE to craft, rinse/repeat (also never revive with energy unless its necessary)

alternatively: run profitable levels, buy CE with crowns, if you did it right you should get more CE than you use in the clockworks

I know that a free resource

I know that a free resource ends up hurting them, but making the limit so small hurts them as well. You end up using what....60 energy for a full run in tier 1...or 70...I don't remember right now. So that leaves you 30ish energy left over. Now what? You have to HOPE you got a decent amount of Crown in your run, and further more, you have to HOPE the economy isn't completely over inflated at the time. When I started about a week ago, the market was right around 6.5K Crown per 100 energy. When i would for a full Tier 1 run, i was getting about 5-5.5k Crown. How do I buy more energy in the situation?

And how does one control which levels he is randomly given in the runs to make more Crown (aka Arena and what not)? Exactly....you can't. I played for 4-5 days and made ZERO progress on gear or Crown before I caved and finally bought some energy. I know that is probably what is intended, but how can it be a F2P game if it is so difficult do make any progress in Tier and Gear, and you end up having to purchase CE to do most anything?

Yes, I know the game is not supposed to be "beaten" in a week, but making little to no progress in 4-5 days is just as bad.

uhoh

it's another one of those "how is SK really f2p?" arguments.... you made and account and played SK without a subscription fee thus its f2p, now the brutal fatigue system known as energy is another issue. CE is OOO's way of making money, it's vital for them to support both the dev team and the server.

get T2 clearance and does Royal Jelly Palace, its not only profitable, but it has no random elements save the one slime level before it.

one way to save ME from runs is to get as close to the clockwork tunnels as possible by joining rather than starting a party, since the latter halves of any tiers are more profitable. o ya one thing you could do if you insist on doing a full run is to sell recipes from Basil (dusker caps/coats especially) for the price of the original recipe plus a finders fee. i make a killing off of that.

ultimately, the current way of things are to prevent players from reaching endgame quickly since a while ago you could reach endgame in a week.

edit: i just checked CE prices they are now 5.4k at the time of this edit

lol

@Mez: if you are still in Tier1 after 4-5 days that means you havent understood something or you die too much XD i personaly managed to get 2* gear on day1 and got to Tier2 on day2...the trick is to NOT buy CE before tier2 so you dont waste all your CR! when you are at tier2 just do JK runs (like monkeyman said) and you'll be fine.
