Just wanted to get the thoughts of the community (this is not a suggestion thread XD
what do u guys think of the Crest of Almire's design?
Does anyone else think: hey this is the most elite shield, but it mirrors exactly the least elite shield (Aegis)!!! Why is this!!!
to me thats disappointing. the blackened crest looks 100x better than the 5* version. if only the 5* was a GIANT blackened crest, that would be sweet!!!!!!
but anyways. do you guys find the Crest of Almire as dissappointing in appearance as i do?

Blackened crest looks way better. Strange the blackened crest gets a singularly unique shield design, and the 5* is a reskin (mostly). The crest of almire should pop the eye in some special way--should have some type of special effect. i.e. owlite glows, skelly smokes, plate shields get that hologram, thornshield kinda glows/smokes, etc. It's the Crest of ALMIRE, do something for heavens sakes. Oh yeah, it has a towel wrapped around it, nevermind.

it is an amazing shield.
which is why it should have its own awesome look!!!
i'll grant taht some people don't care as much about looks. But others do. Heck, we all can clearly see what an impact rose regalia has on the game!!!!!!!

i'll tell you what the point is. I wanted to know how the community felt about it.
how many people agreed with my initial point, and how many felt like you do about it. All opinions and voices are equally welcome. There is no need (or room) for argument in this thread.

For some reason, I like the fact that they look alike given the shields descriptions;
Aegis- A sublime shield entrusted to only the most worthy members of the Spiral Order. Whether its crest is a relic from the Order of old or a creation from the Knight's time on Cradle is not immediately clear.
Crest of Almire - A shimmering crest once proudly carried by the noble knights of Almire. It is said to bless those who fight for their homeland, granting them strength from within.
Both are sources of pride within the orders that issue them and it's almost suggested that the Aegis is at least related to the Crest in it's origins ("relic from Order of old"). I'd like to think that order of old is the Knights of Almire.
Also, look at the picture in the Wiki , go ahead and look, to me it looks like a picture of Rudolph the red nosed reindeer on the front...if that doesn't scream "Best shield in the game", I don't know what does. I mean, he was the lead reindeer for Pete's sake.
ps. It's very difficult to keep these posts PG for those 13 year olds playing...

I like the way the CoA looks,
I like the way the CoA looks, it's not supposed to look BC. The country of Almire was once a florishing and respected place and the CoA acuratly represents that.

what if the crest had something falling of it like black feathers?it is of no relevance to the shield but it would look cool.or have some faint red glow tracing the lines on the face of the shield? :D
i think its an awesome looking and brilliantly designed shield.
i just don't like that it and the Aegis look basically the exact same.
