Spiral knights should ban anyone who asks for money because it annoys other players that gets begged by them.

Once at the end of depth 27,

Once at the end of depth 27, the group leader of my group wouldn't get on the elevator because he wanted to wait for an arena. And then when the arena did come, he still wouldn't get on, because he wanted to beg for CE. And then when no one would give him CE, he kicked everyone.

Yeah, beggers definitely need to be banned. Constantly begging other players for energy, crowns, mats etc. goes under harassment and is a banable offense depending on how bad it is. One time I was in the advanced training hall just because I was bored, and someone wanted me to buy them a sealed sword, but I didn't have the tokens or CR to get one off of the AH. So I politely told him sorry, can't afford it. But then he noticed my DA, and seriously wanted it. He followed me all over the place asking to have it, and sending me multiple friend requests and spamming me with /tell until finally I just changed havens, ignored him and sent a complaint for harassment.

some random player told me to

it would be funny if you could mark players as beggars and if they get enough marks then they get this floating B above their name for the next 2 days!

a funny way to humiliate players!

They need a timed ignore

They need a timed ignore list. I have to write down names to unignore the next day on a peice of paper. I am in full suppourt of begger and troll label-votes, though I'm sure three rings wouldn't let us be that devious, and with good reason. Quizzical pointed out a very very very big problem though. I've found myself under a dictator who tries to tax my gate runs more than once. They need to make kicking voting in some way. I dunno.

Uh...

Actually, I don't mind beggers, I just don't like the ones that ask FOR stuff.

What I mean is, if someone needs, lets say, ce to do something, I don't mind them asking around for some.

But it DOES annoy me when people just go around asking for free gear. This guy once added me, then kept following me asking 'ctuer giv' (Give Cutter.) I told him I didn't have one. He dragged me to Bazzar, then asked me again. I told him the same thing. He called me a noob, then ran off. I unfreinded him, and he ran back to me, added me, then asked for a gun.

Jeepers...I don't mind giving to people who need stuff, but this is ridiculous. I once needed ce, I wasn't asking for much, I needed 2 craft 2*. Some guy just gave me 60 ce free. I help people if they need it, but some people are just too much.

It's probably not a good idea to allow "tagging" people...

I imagine it can be used for harrassment, like an entire posse of guildies/friends/alts of a guy you had an argument with tags you and you automatically become a social outcast or muted for 2 days...

Once I remember a group of "autogun fans" gawking at my "red autogun" and asked me if I could craft it for them. For free.

(Seriously, the Fiery Pepperbox sucks and I would gladly give it to them if there was no unbinding fee. But they are SOL.)
