BLOOD BATH

.... why is this not in this game. i just realised i'm sorely missing the black humor blood effects i like in most games. take fat princess for example.... its mindless fun, but only when you have blood effects on. i came about this thought while in a devilish drudgery level where i was going beserk with my arc razor (HOLY MOLY FALLOUT ISNT USING A BOMB?!?!), and i felt this dark shadow creep over me, telling me there was something missing.
so i want blood effects.... or something child friendly like candy flying out of mobs when they get hit. either way ,make it toggle-able....
SK is aimed at all people, adding blood effects would be a total turn-off for some.
As NegimaSonic said, it would add to lag, which I know everyone hates.
It would also eat up dev time, which could be better spent on balancing and creating new items.

He said he doesn't mind if candy or confetti flys out, if can't do blood effects! I'm up for that!
that sounds brilliant :D plus there is already a confetti effect in the game, just tone it down and base the amount of confetti on % damage caused.
Would be great to finish a danger room and see the room flooded with confetti (also needs to be togglable).
The health bars flying out of your body when you get hit kind of represents this...
If your computer can't handle it then yes your computer will lag. It won't add any more strain to the server because such effects would be handled locally. Server doesn't need to receive or transmit any more data then this character died. The client takes this information it's always received and add random blood effects around the character.

This isn't that kind of game. Even toggling effects like that. They aren't needed and will just add to the lag and processor strain.
