First of all.

1. Gran Faust is currently the only sword capable of dealing CURSE.
-Deals a large amount of Shadow damage.
-BEING cursed is not as threatening as a monster being cursed

a. IF i was seriously considering Gran Faust, should i go for a Atk Spd Armor build such as Vog Cub? or concentrate on defence?

2. Sudaruska
a. is it really as horrible as everyone says so?
b. could it be plausible to use with Vog Cub due to large knockback and fast atk spd?

3. Vog Cub set using mostly 2h Swords + Graviton bomb.
a. plausible to use or is it simply a noob's dream for unreachable awesomeness?

4. Gran Faust + Divine Avenger + Barbarous Thorn Blade + *undecided* + Vog Cub + Barbarous Thorn Shield
a. are there any draw backs i should be noted other than lacking Shadow/Pierce defence?
b. am i a total idiot for thinking that this could work in endgame and experiment more?

Please be kind in your answers, but if i deserve a good insult here and there for being completely idiotic in my questions (in any way), criticize me all you want.

Hmm?

1. Curse resist armor? Hmm... I'll leave this to the swordie experts...
Though in general, defense is good, but your armor is secondary to dodging and shielding attacks.

2. The faster attack speed of vog is so you can shield faster after first hit, especially with heavy swords, so yes, and it also applies to DA/GF.
Sudaruska is considered weaker because it deals the same damage of DA/GF to neutral targets but with a weaker charge attack.

3. Not a bad idea. Just keep in mind, Graviton Bomb DA AND GF all have long charge times. I don't think you can use the bomb and expect to land whatever charge attack afterwards. You might consider Shivermist bomb or Glacius (or Triglav?) instead to lock up mobs.

4. BTS won't be your last shield, you should probably also invest in Grey Owl and either Crest or Skelly.
That set is the cookie cutter heavy swordsman set. It works well and is "tried and tested" (or rather, used a whole lot).

this is good! but consider...

DA, GF, BTB, Vog Cub Cap, Vog Cub Coat, and BTS are all great. However:

Consider Acheron instead of GF. I love GF, but Acheron's speed makes it better against Tier 3 gremlins, where GF's slowness is strongly felt.

Consider Final Flourish instead of BTB. They're equally good. The entire difference is: FF's charge focuses on one monster, while BTB's charge hits a few.

Consider Shivermist Buster. It's my favorite weapon, although I'm a swordsman. If you prefer the Graviton Bomb concept, then consider Electron Vortex.

Consider Divine Veil. When it's paired with Skolver Coat, you have protection against all four damage types, protection against the four most important statuses, and two damage bonuses. Or mix and match these with Vog Cub, depending on the stratum.

Consider Grey Owlite. I'm sorry, but there's a reason why it's popular.

Sudaruska, like all normal weapons, is general-purpose. If you're going to roll with two or more swords, there is no reason for any of them to be normal. This is the only part of your musings that I truly disagree with.

In case you are wondering the

In case you are wondering the Troika swords line does not have any reach advantage over the Sealed sword line. I tested them back to back in the ATH for first swing reach (had results varied by others also). I would not get a Triglav for freeze either because it only has a slight chance to inflict status on the charge attack & the charge attack has a horrible lag a the end of it leaving you very exposed.

If my end game you mean FSC you are probably going to want Normal/Elemental Defence with fire resistance for your armor and shield. That being said I have seen videos of people taking out the duke with a swiftstrike buckler, so it really just comes done to personal skill (& teamwork if in party).

Grey Owlite shield is probably the best all-around shield for FSC, but the Volcanic Plate Shield is better geared to take mace shots from the Duke. The Crest of Almire is also popular because it is Normal/Shadow Fire, but it is an upgraded FSC reward item. Dread Skelly shield is great for undead/fiend work, but not so great for FSC because it doesn't have fire resistance. The BTS is great for the damage mod, but not very protective in FSC (great for JK though) so you better be ready to dodge. Dont for get about weapon mod trinkets from Sullivan. Using combinations of Elite Sword Focus (CTR Med), Elite Slash Module (Sword Damage Med), and Elite Quick Strike Module (ASI Med) can allow you to pick your armor and shield based more on protective value then offensive value (for example a Vog set plus 2 Elite Slash -> ASI VH & Sword Dam VH).

Picking the best loadout is a highly personal thing. There is gear that is better suited for some situations, but the best gear for you will depend on your strengths and weaknesses.

Well turns out today that i

Well turns out today that i crafted a UV of Dark thorn shield of having maximum normal defence, so when i upgrade it to BTS, would it still be lacking in terms of defence?

nice luck, yes that shield

nice luck, yes that shield will be perfect for jelly king and the resistance mod you got is the best all around one, but you need fire resistance for vanaduke, and shadow for fiends, etc, thats why you need a lot of shields, however if you will keep your shield it is going to work, still try to get an owlite or crest sometime.
