Profitable as in having the least amount of Graveyards and most amount of Deconstruction Zones, treasure vaults, and arenas
What are currently the most profitable dungeons?
I can't figure out how to kill the Jelly King.
And are Tier 2 dungeons in any way more profitable than Tier 1? They seem to give more crowns.
To kill the jelly king, you are definitely going to need some friends if you don't have the gear. I sorta accidentally ended up following along on a jelly king run. With my grand two star equipment. I was absolutely useless between my freezing bomb and my flaming sword. They were prepared with poison and curse vials and everything. It was probably still tough for them but they destroyed it pretty darn quickly (to be honest, they seemed to have more trouble getting TO the jelly king than killing it).
I still have limited experience with tier 2 dungeons but I'd say they are more profitable in general, but if you find yourself reviving (with energy) too much. Then its not worth it. Go farm tier 1 a little while longer. That's what I'm passively doing especially since I'm randomly hunting low level recipes anyway.
Poison him and have everyone rush with their melee, throwing support out the window. He usually collapsed in, say, 20-30 seconds this way. It's best to have a group when delving to him.
I crafted a Vile Striker for the sole purpose of being to face the Jelly King alone, and it worked, The Jelly Palace is a good place for crowns, and if your solo, a even better place for mats! (Like gel drops and such, lol.)
Jelly King is super easy if you use the blitz strat.
One team member gets poison out and the other three charge melee attacks.
Run up to him once you activate switch and wait for him to destroy wall.
All release melee charges while 4th member throws poison vile.
Forget about everything and simply dps him until he starts spinning.
Use shield and when safe use a heal capsule, one teammate pulls out poison.
When he stops spinning, teammate hits him with poison, other teammates continue dps.
Should go down after the 3rd or 4th spin.
Soloing him is just as easy. If you have a multi hit weapon like cutter/striker or a sealed sword (ironic because you need jelly gems to get it) or the venom tech for striker, just constantly hit him and heal on spin phases, you usually out dps him if your sword is at least Lv5. Flame weapons work just as well as the flame dot will counteract or at least reduce how much he's actually healing. Don't be afraid to revive either as you shouldn't use any revives all the way to him. I usually spend 15 ce to kill jelly king (thats two revives.)
Hope that helps.
Graveyards > Treasure Vaults. Honestly 10 energy for little to no heat and a few tokens hardly seems worth it. In addition to the extra energy gates within them? nty.
A graveyard at depth 12+ can net you over 3k+ cr. alone.
Check out the new King Jelly gate that opened up, I think its called Coral Pawn or something (please correct me if I'm wrong) You get a chance for up to 3 arenas and a graveyard before King Jelly.
I've been experimenting in tier 2 with all of the current gates. In myopinion, the coral gate, as was mentioned above, pulls the most profit if you are soloing. Even if you only solo two stages of one arena, that generally pulls 1k cr alone. If you can manage the jelly levels, they are fairly long, and also give a generous amount of cr.
I can't play the game right now but as far as I remember
Treasure Vaults and Graveyards are on the same random elevator route. Meaning you can get either/or. (Look at an elevator before you leave and you may notice a ? icon on the mini screen). Besides, graveyards are profitable if you can handle them. I'm sure I'd die in a tier 2 oe 3 graveyard but in tier 1, I look forward to them as much as a treasure vault.
Oh and another thing, you may want to specify which tier you're looking for when you say most profitable. Looking at your join date, you look like someone who probably is already in tier 3 but there's no way to know that for sure without you saying.
As far as most arenas, once again, I can't check but if you have the time, just go look at the gate maps, I think one of them had the chance to get two arenas earlier (in tier 1). And there's always the jelly king in tier 2.
