ive barely started laying today and i find that the striker class with a pierce blade is very broken,because ive been able to tear people to shreds,its fun and i feel like a god but its probably frustrating for others, so will they nerf it or keep it as it is. btw dudes with divine avengers and gran fausts.HAHAHAHAHA they are easiest to pwn with any class if you have striker with a pierce blade,im not showing off im not saying im better ive just found a broken-ish way to win,its fun but for others? im sorry to any who read this. do i sound like a jerk? and if you have any what are your formulas for succes in lockdown?

I'm maining Skolver and Final
I'm maining Skolver and Final Flourish amongst other things, and the armor set does help against piercer-swords, but the sword doesn't do well against other pierce-defensers.
Acheron ends up being useful against the wolf line in general though.

how about the two hitter swords? aint it fun to dash around em and get em with pierce?although i was having alot of luck today,i dont really see how pierce resist helps,i used my furious flamberge on every single person and they went down in a matter of hits,the only people that took a bit longer were the guardian class guys

Slinger Strikers. Hail Driver to freeze. Callahan to make sure they don't run away, Senteza to kill since most people use Vog Cub. Learn to sprint in the direction you're facing as a Striker and you'll already be better than 90% of the players.

The meta-game is going to
The meta-game is going to evolve. People are noticing how effective the pierce swords are and so people will not only start using them more often themselves, but you're going to see more people wearing skolver. The question is, how will the meta-game evolve from there?
I've played around with Shivermist, and that's crazy effective at point defense. Either you get them frozen at the point and then get a few free hits or you force the opponent to pull out a gun and then that's when you can rush in with your sword.
Polaris also seems like it'll have its uses. Seems like it's the best gun at present, due to its large splash radius and the effectiveness of shock.
Now if you REALLY want to own lockdown, get yourself a pair of heart pendants. I've got two tri-heart pendants, and with that setup I was actually able to solo five people back-to-back-to-back with a final flourish.

be careful that a guardian
be careful that a guardian blocking against a shivermist won't take shield damage from anything else. don't get too preoccupied trying to freeze him or you may get backstabbed.

Striker is tough to beat but
Striker is tough to beat but more than once I've seen them coming and timed my swings to hit them as they reached me, what a nice feeling, theres nothing they can do, its like baseball, and I knocked them out of the park. I have been playing mostly striker, and striker / DA / Final Flourish is a tough one to beat for sure.

I use Striker and full
I use Striker and full Skolver with Final Flourish as my main weapon, Gran Faust as backup, and Polaris for occasional support. Have yet to need to use the loadout feature during a pvp match since I love this setup so much.
My favorite thing is dueling pierce blades with someone who also has piercing resist (or an Ancient set). Really fun.

Shivermist busters
It seems like those with shivermist are practically invincible - all they have to do is bomb a capture point over and over, and no one can touch them. Of course, yesterday was the first day of lockdown for the general public, so I suppose more gunners will make an appearance soon to counter this - however, last night as a striker (vog cub coat, ash tail cap, dark thorn shield, dark thorn blade) I found that I could consistently kill every sort of player except for the freeze/shock bombers, who were completely untouchable.

Except you just need a Skolver set and you can walk on the mist as much as you want. Now to only find a countermeasure to VT... i guess Mercurial set will do?

They need to bring out a new armor that counters lag, when u equip it it makes your sword read 10 times longer, and make people think your somewhere else, with the added bonus of having every defence set to max....

Yeah VTs are giving me the hardest time. That or Stun which is insanely effective in locking down Strikers

Obviously that would require people to wear something other than vog, which is unthinkable to the masses.
