Would you have to just amass a buncha sealed swords and upgrade them until you get desired UV?
Also is Vog set+Elite ASI Trinket good enough for attack speed on it or should I just try for a ASI UV. I know I want to get a good CTR on it already.

It might be a good idea to use Punch on the lowest form (sealed sword in this case) over and over until you get a good UV that you want. Then start upgrading. You just might get another UV or 2 on it. If you wait until it's 5* and start using Punch, you either are stuck with 1 UV or pay dearly for 2 or 3.
No no no no NO! Don't bother using punch at lower star versions, as you may get a UV when upgrading. If you get a good UV, yay, good for you. If you get a bad UV, go reroll it.
Always roll a UV on the highest star level upgrade of it.
Rebel, when upgrading you get the option to either keep the UV or get rid of it. The only way you could get more by upgradin is unchecking the option.
To answer your question about ASI - if you are in full Vog and have an Elite Quick Strike Module then you already have Max ASI. No need for an ASI UV at that point as it would be wasted.
Medium ASI from Vog Cab + Medium ASI from Vog Coat + Medium ASI from Trinket = Maximum ASI

I tried Max ASI using DA and GF... it is really enjoyable. I'm a big sword kinda guy, speed it up to max and I'm set.
There isn't a cheap way to get the UV you want when it comes to sealed swords. Try to get lucky just upgrading from Sealed -> DA, maybe you'll hit something useful. If that doesn't work out, try buying a Sealed Sword with the UV you want and upgrade it to DA. Or just buy the DA with the one you want. This still is going to be pretty expensive though. Most of us just live without a UV on our DA, or have a useless UV.
Using Punch, the expected time to Medium UV is around 5 rolls since there is around 1 in 5 chance of hitting Medium. So just to get something that isn't low is probably going to cost 100k CR. Very High UV is around 1 in 80 or 1.6M CR. High is around 1 in 20 or 400k CR.
You could get lucky and hit Very High CTR on your first roll, but the odds are against you. And knowing my luck, once I do get Very High it'll be Very High Beast on a DA x_x
You might get lucky like me (one ticket roll: CTR VH)
My bad, I had misunderstood the wiki. I thought that if you transfer the UV, there is still a chance that it could add another UV at each stage of crafting. After reading BigFoot's comment, I re-read the wiki page, and it appears that this is not the case. I think the wiki page could be rewritten jst a tad to make this more explicitly clear; as is, it's merely implied.
Anyway, yeah, ignore my suggestion then!
And thanks for setting me straight, BF!
spend all your money on punch in the bazaar.. he might be nice
or spend all your money and buy one from someone. I have ctr med for sale :)
