Ok there is way to much lag!!!

Heres some ideas about reducing lag.

1. remove background images in clockworks.
2. remove all moving objects that arent really needed in blast arena/clockworks
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Why do i say this?
Well lets see first off anything past t2 basil lags so hard you cant even move.
When you do move you die.

In vana halls remove all the stupid flames and embers glowing on the frame work and background.
This stuff is just details that lag out slower computers.

blast arena is insanely laggy. remove stupid spec monsters that move! They arent needed!!!!!!

I know my computer isnt the fastest thing in the world.
1.2 gig amd
786 ddr ram
256 mb gforce video card
running on windows xp pro

my comp is slow yes but it doesnt have issues playing counter strike or CoD MW
and those 2 games both take way more then SK to run.

so all in all make the low graphics option ingame reflect that remove all garbage details that arent needed.

I don't think

that it's lag. I call it server delay.

Information has to travel from ur computer, to the server, then back again. Since our computers can process our own data faster since it was there first, we seem further ahead of where we seem to be. Thats how people choke up in blast network, or you seem to 'snap back' when you pull out a vial or get hit.

Unless I'm wrong and you ARE talking about real lag, in which I would have no-idea how to do it.

I think It'd look kinda boring without the extras. Perhaps use the graphics optoins? Or get them to add your suggestions to the Advanced graphics options?

lag issues

Well Im talking about computer side lag not server lag if they have that much server lag then they need to upgrade.

If they remove computer side lag it wont be as bad as having both lag issues at the same time.
I did a vana run today and I assure you I wont be trying to kill him again anytime soon until they fix the lag issues.

If they are having issues from server to computer lag. Then they need to fix it they cant say they dont have enough money to
rent or buy new servers to host.

As I stated I have no issues playing CSS or CoD MW on this very same computer with a cable ISP.

These suggestions would tone down computer side lag a great deal. I like the look of the game but I will make due if I need
to without the extra details to play the game better or faster.

If I lag via server to computer connections then they should be looking to update servers to faster and better servers.
SEGA alone should know that crappy servers = crappy lag filled gaming exp.

sooooo

can you describe it? Is it like your player just freezes, then walks jerkily forward? and enemies just seem to teleport everywhere?

Or is it stuff like 'I was totally out of range! how could that hit me?!' and random snap backs when you use something, and some attacks just miss even if it looks like you got them?

The first one is real lag, the second one is server delay. Just want to clear my own confusion...

There's a graphics quality

There's a graphics quality setting in Options.

If that doesn't help, get a new computer. With those specs you shouldn't expect every game to run perfectly.

He knows

He just said that other, higher demanding games can still be played fine on it, but only SK seems to lag. He already acknowledged that his computer isn't all that great.

I only have the server delay, personally, although sometimes I get a whole stage of lag...it fixes by the next stage
