I read that monster spawns occur in some areas of Lockdown, and hearing that gave me a sort of idea.

Basically a RTS-inspired game that involves summoning monsters. You start off with a base and you can use it to create Mech Knights and other monsters (you get a limit on how much you can do this, of course, as well as what kinds of monsters you summon) and a really huge terrain. In this terrain are neutral monsters and the base of the opposing player

You then lead them around to attack another player or his base or summons (which levels them up).

All the monsters are either versions of clockworks monsters or whole new critters recolored to your team color and either have no elemental typing or bear emblems that depict their element, and without exception will all start at Tier 1 and have to work their way up to Tier 3 by beating up things.

the players have their weapons, armor and shield swapped out for some special (albeit weak) standardized replacements and he gains a bunch of skills relating to controlling his mobs and aiding them in general (basically the player gets to become some kind of equivalent to a hybrid of a Pit Boss, Silkwing, Alpha Wolver, and a Mender but without the OP that would come from actually combining them or the broken elements), but keep their costume armor.

of course this could very well end up being too big and thus necessitating it's own spin-off game :S

-1 due to dev time needed

Sounds like DOTA :D

I'd be happy with a tower defense kinda game though...

...though like your suggested mode it might take forever to make.

lol

DOTA's exactly what I was thinking of here xD

And now that I think about it we could probably say "dude this is like a whole separate game" or "dude this would take too long" to either of the two PvP modes we've already seen.

one of the other ideas I had was that the monsters have randomly generated names to make you feelsbadman.jpeg when they finally keel over.

and another idea is to have reward/token/novelty items/prizes specifically for this PvP mode available for this mode available from the get-go when it's released like the Bombheads were for BN mode (I am a bit disappoint with the lack of special Lockdown prizes/stuff that was present when I last checked. The only flaw I found of this cool PvP mode).

Let's hope we can spawn Slooms lol

actually i never played of

actually i never played of DOTA nor have i seen it being played so i have no idea on any similarities but it does sound somewhat interesting but the AI of SK monsters isn't really high i would think that would need some work before this becomes viable

lol - sk dota

i jokingly posted on another thread that they should make SK dota - thinking back and looking at this though it quite possibly could work, and it wouldnt take horrendously long to make because its kinda like a mix of PvE and lockdown (personally i think they should reuse the lockdown class mods in this so that each team of knights have access to a bunch of tactical options) with a slight addition to ai (if nothing to attack in range move towards opposing base/towers)

funnily enough we now have sk bomberman, sk tf2(or any other command point based shooter) so why not mix in another well known game as well

How about this PVP mode, both

How about this PVP mode, both teams have a Energy Generator, teams need to destroy the opposing team's Energy Generator to win. Teams' base will be bigger and will be more maze like so there will be a few entrances to the base of each team, once the generator is destroyed, the team wins. Oh ya and making the spawn point not so close to the Energy Generator.
