Transferring UV's and new UV's on crafting

Just verifying, I'm not sure if this is supposed to go into the Arsenal or here, but I figured it wasn't directly talking about weapons or anything so I'd post here. Say when you transfer over a UV to your new weapon/armor/shield, is there still a chance of you getting an additional UV on top of it? From what I've been reading I get conflicting answers, and I haven't been able to find anything on the wiki saying that you can't get an additional one on top of one that's already on there, so I figured I'd ask. Thanks yall :)

If you want to keep your original UV (UV A) when you upgrade, you will still keep UV A, with no chance of getting another UV (UV B) on top of it.
If you decide to not keep UV A, you may get a UV B while completely losing UV A.
In short, you may not get another set of UV while you already have an existing set.
The same thing happens with the UV Gremlinm, and applies regardless of whether you have one, two, or three UVs.
No. If you keep the original UV, you can't get additional UVs through crafting.
