Before I get started, I want to get this out of the way now because I just know some idiot is going to skim the post and then loudly complain about something I did not say: this is not in any way, shape, or form a means to spend more than 100 mist at once; you still require CE for any such expenditures and I LIKE it that way.

Now then, this suggestion is all about the unfortunate side-effect of the daily mist limit. I understand why it is there, and I agree with it, however the current implementation of it needlessly punishes players who don't log in and use all of their mist every single day. For a casual game, making somebody feel like they need to login every day is a good way to turn potential customers away. Easy solutions to this problem, such as increasing the amount of mist you can store, aren't feasible because they break the game balance (by allowing you to buy things priced over 100 energy entirely with mist for example). However, an idea I hit upon last night when somebody mentioned this problem to me is that perhaps the amount of mist you can hold at once could be extended without breaking the balance the devs have created. I do believe this is the solution to the problem at hand.

Reserve energy. Any mist gained over 100- whether naturally or from a mist tank- goes into the reserve tank. When you spend energy, it still comes out of your regular mist energy, and if the total goes over 100 then the rest comes out of your crystal energy. After the transaction is done, mist energy is refilled from reserve energy as much as possible (up to 100 or whatever is left in the reserves). This way, a player can effectively bank multiple days worth of playtime but still requires crystal energy to do anything that requires more than 100 energy at once. This avoids punishing players for failing to login every day while still keeping in place the established daily limit on playtime and maintaining the current game balance. There is also a side benefit that it's easier to use mist tanks without wasting some portion of them. The size of the reserve tank is up to the developers to decide, though I would ask for it to be at least three days worth (300), preferably closer to a week's worth (700).

tl;dr: Extra mist over 100 goes into reserve tank (developers decide how big this tank is). Reserve energy can only be used to refill mist, not for anything else (so you still require crystal energy for anything that needs more than 100 energy at once). Players are no longer punished for not logging in every day, but game balance is preserved.

And once more just for the record: this does not allow you to spend more than 100 mist energy at once, you still require crystal energy for such purchases.

Hmmm...

Personally, I like it. Thought out to minimize...whatever it is.

Anyway, some stuff ppl will say: Mass crating, crash ce market, ce useless, blah blah blah.

I REALLY hate to say this, but you better be prepared to be trolled. Trolls WILL come...eventually...

Be prepared...

The main goal is to make it

The main goal is to make it so that you can't do anything you can't already do if you were logging in every day, without having to log in every day. I feel like this accomplishes that goal- you can skip a few days without losing out on anything you could have done, and you don't get any sort of benefit for skipping those days. I certainly expect such trolls, but I did what I could to hopefully prevent saner minds from joining them.

Hm..

So how does the reserve tank work? Instant re-fill? If yes, then I don't agree - it would practically become a free mist tank.
If no, then maybe, just maybe, it could work. (Although I expect a huge opposition.)

I have an idea of my own, which you can take with a grain of salt.
So let's say you have a reserve tank, and it can store 300 units of unused mist. When the tank is active, it speeds up the regen-rate of mist energy up to the point where all of the units in the reserve tank have been exhausted. Basically, not an instant re-fill, but a sped up regeneration based on the amount of unused mist collected. 1-99 could have a 1.5x regen rate, this would make for 1 mist every 8.8 minutes (100 energy in ~14.7 hours). 100-199 would provide a 2x regen rate, which makes for 1 mist every 6.6 minutes (100 energy in 11 hours). Finally, 200-300 would provide a 2.5x regen, which makes for 1 mist every 5.28 minutes (100 energy in 8.8 hours). This way, you won't get all the accumulated mist immediately, but your mist regenerates much faster to exhaust your reserve tank instead.

I could see a system like this working (to some extent, my example is nowhere near flawless), but as for your idea you haven't given a clear explanation as to how it works, as I'm assuming it works like a an instant re-fill mist tank, and that's not something that should be farmed in your absence.

The mist limit is there to

The mist limit is there to tempt you to purchase crystal, no matter if you have time to play everyday or if you are a weekend knight. With the reserve tank weekend knights will feel much less need to buy crystal.

If you can't spend 1-2 hours to play, here's my advice: Logout every day in the arcade, where the alchemy machine is closest. Then when you can't play that day, login and craft something to use 100 mist. Say, 10 Firecracker bombs, or 2 Caliburs. Then logout. That'd at most take you 5 minutes.

When you have time to play you can sell those items. No worthy UV? Just sell it to NPC vendors. The low level items consume only materials you likely have in hundreds, so you gain 100 crowns doing that and save time. Decent to good UV? Then you've hit the AH jackpot. With 5 weekdays of crafting you'd get some nice UV eventually.
