According to the Bombing Guide in the Wiki i bought the Radiant Sun Shard (bought the 2 Star Variant and upgraded it to 4 Stars)
Could it be that the guide is somewhow outdated? The bomb does almost no damage and is far not as good as it has been promoted in the guide. Or was this guide somehow sarcastic?

It is hard to use, I can
It is hard to use, I can destroy undead in one shot but you have to place it on the spot they will land after a jump, and also you have to match the timing so it explodes after the zombie lands. So yeah hard to use.
Its better when you "team" with a swordman, you place the bomb behind the enemy, right before the swordsman hits the enemy on the opposite side, the knockback pushes the enemy on top of your bomb, and it dies in one hit usually.
Any of the shots can stun a puppy, which is also great because you got a lot of range as well, just need to time the shard to hit the puppy while it is charging an attack. Get in the middle of the arena and stun the puppies :P
Even if you dont want to aim and time stuff, you can always get in the middle of mobs (that arent targetting you of course, or perhaps are frozen) and place a bomb there, that way while you dont kill anyone in one hit, you are likely to land all eight shards, which equals more damage than a sword on a single target.
But yeah I dont recommend it as you main weapon, it does deal enough damage to be usable but it's too tricky. Its coolest use is to destroy crystals in one blast :P

i think thats a bug or something...
My bomb does only 60 points damage with one shard against undead . It also has 3 UVS (vs gremlins, slime, undead)
I dont have problems timing a bomb and i saw the video so i thought it got downgraded or something cause it is so weak but now i think its a bug cause the damage is also always shown grey (as its the weakest attack against this kind of monster) regardless which enemy i attack

Yeah, that doesn't sound right at all. RSS without any UVs against Undead it does 33-54 damage in T1. By T3 you should be doing 159-230 per shard hence the ability to 1-hit zombies.

against the JK (i died trying) it does 80 HITpoints Damage... only 80? How could somebody kill the jelly king with only 80 dmg?
I set the bombs extremly near to him so i could hit him with multiple shards but it only count 80 damage at once no matter how much shards beat that slimy king...

yepp they should but you should learn reading first raton15, cause i said my bomb does only about 80 damage and i have already seen this videos so you apparently don't read anything i wrote. We tested it about 3 times yesterday- and whoosa 80 HP damage whatever how much splinters hit the target.
And about learning english- I know that my english is kinda crap but its not my first language and if you use your brain you should manage to get an idea what i am talking about. AND I HAVE ALREADY read all of the sk guides in the wiki so back off and let your pointless gibberish hit someone else

Is the bomb level 10? Outside of T1 a 4* bomb will have lowered damage until it is.

The video only hit jelly king about 100 damage. Compared to yours 80 damage, it would not be so far away.
I am assuming you didn't have any UV. So 80 damage -> 100 damage = 25% increase = Very High Damage UV.
I think eek using either 2 bomb damage trinket or mad bomber set.

Man sry but i say MY english sucks hard yours are fine.
Now even with 80 dmg you are hitting for 640 dmg if all shards hit.. man thats is insane and RSS have only 1.5 .12 sec charge.
this bomb is made for take down HUGE mosnters and turrets.
have you watched the video about eek using radiant shard?
Well, the partial damage piercing + elemental is only effective against fiend and undead. Not that great on others.
