Steam + Linux, no sound in SK

I've managed to get Spiral Knights running properly in Steam using Wine, but there's no sound. Sound works in other Wine apps (including Steam itself) and the native web client works with sound, so I don't think its a problem with either SK or Wine.
I think it might have something to do with Java running under Wine, but I haven't found any way to get it working. Has anyone else managed to solve the problem?
Btw if you want to get SK running at all under Linux you need to use Java 1.6. Last I checked 1.7 won't work. (Arch users can install the jre6 package from the AUR)

My sound is the same but the only thing is that im on windows i just need some update that fixes this bug i only use steam to play the game
Yes, a lot of people. Look up: wine [your sound software: alsa / pulseaudio / oss].
Quick hints:
- Use winecfg to set up the right audio device.
- You might need to install 32bit-libs if you're on a 64bit system. (e.g. lib32alsa)
- If something else is using the output device, you might need to set up simultaneous output properly (alsa: dmix... or something).
(btw: jre7 DOES work. You just need to use a workaround because SK ships old / broken libs. Look here: http://forums.spiralknights.com/de/node/23072. Also latest openjdk does work safe for some hard to read fonts. I'd recommend using openjdk anyway - mostly because I hate that Oracle recently decided to remove the "Operating System Distributor License for Java" from their license ;))
