So, I have accumulated a bunch of 4*/5* items that I no longer use due to getting better UVs and such. Can anyone tell me if unbinding them is worth the energy? I realize I won't get enough to cover the unbinding cost *plus* the cost to craft (e.g. a true profit like you used to be able to make before the binding changes), but i don't want to unbind a 4* item only for it to sell for 1900CE. I guess I would want at least 500CE-1000CE over the unbinding cost, otherwise the pack rat in me will just keep them.

The items in question are:

5* Callahan UV low vs fiend
5* Storm driver UV ASI low
4* Volt driver (I can easily upgrade to a storm driver)
4* Miracle cloak UV piercing high (I can easily upgrade to a divine mantle or grey feather cowl)
4* Miracle cloak UV normal med (ditto)
5* Grew owlite shield

Yes, I know, no one replying likely means that the answer is "no", but my post could have just been pushed off the page. And, no, I'm not looking for bids or anything, just people's experiences.

I think you'll be able to sell grey owlite shield for a bit more than unbinding price (4.5k ce to 5k ce), though I'm not sure about the rest of items.
I'm not interested in either of them. I'm looking for a buyer for my salamander suit for 2k ce (unbinding is 1.8k ce).

You can use 20k crowns to upgrade your shield to see if you manage to make some nice UV on it. Just don't spend too much on it, I spent 600k crowns and didn't get a decent UV (30 tries).
