A see a lot of threads here saying, a new this boss or a new that boss. Rather than reply to each one separately, I'm here to say, no.
Now, this is a more nuanced position than you might think, and takes some explanation. Right now, each boss is always available in one active gate. It was like that before Roarmulus Twins were introduced, too. With four bosses, that means that each gate has one highly repetitive boss stratum instead of a "real" stratum.
Now, that's tolerable. That means that you still get a lot of normal gates for variety, rather than having to endlessly loop a few highly repetitive boss strata, which gets old in a hurry.
But what if a lot more bosses were added? If it's done the way gate creation is now, then once you get to six bosses, you only get one new normal gate in each tier every four days instead of two. Once you get to nine bosses, it's only once every eight days. At twelve bosses, the normal second, fourth, and sixth strata are gone.
And that would be a big problem, as it would mean that the overwhelming majority of the game's content gives very little loot. That pushes players to loop a tiny subset of the content endlessly. That would be awful game design. What's the point in having a bunch of content if you go out of your way to strongly discourage players from actually playing the content?
Right now, each gate has one boss stratum. I'd propose leaving it there if more bosses are added. Meaning, if you add a fifth boss, then at any given time, four of the five bosses would be available in some gate.
That means that at any given time, not all bosses would be available. But if done properly, you could make sure that there in each tier, there is always some boss available in some gate.
u assume it that way when they could just as easily cycle the bosses on a gate. so if each boss has an individual gate and there 6 bosses 4 of them would be in the active gates and the last 2 would be on the next two in the middle of gate creation
