The Auction House needs a few things:
1. An "Are you sure" sign should come up if you click Buy or Bid.
2. You should be able to cancel Bids.
These have probably been said before but, they're needed to avoid accidents.

Well...

+1 for Buyout.
Very inconvenient for outbidding the minimum amount repeatedly (usually happens in Very Short auctions).
I'd like the confirmation panel though, if:
1. It's my first bid
2. During attempts to outbid, what I typed for a bid is (accidentally) more than 2x the current bid.

Or, instead of completely setting the Bid price back to its original price, it knocks it down to the last bidders price. That would solve a lot of the things you're stating.

Some sign should come up when you sell a recipie for less than basil price. Aciddentaly sold a vog cap for 3100 when I meant 31000. I happened to get the cap becuase I thought it was a coat. Logos for items should match recipies.
1. Yes.
2. No, somebody could bid 1,000,000 CR on a Light Shard, then at the very last second, cancel their bid. I exaggerated, but yeah. Think about it for rare items.
