Hi,
I got this Wolver Cap ( inventory: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198004601170/inventory/#99900_39... )

Now my question is, which of this can be better for me:

1) Try to sell the cap as-is, in AH or here
2) Get it to 4* or choose a 5* path. Taking into account energy ( 700 CE to get to 4*, 1500 to get to 5*), materials ( which if I don't have and I can't get from tokens, must be bought ) and crowns, then sell in AH or here

Eventually, regardless of this helm itfself, I would like to know if and when it's better to fully upgrade an item before selling it, for example with 2 or 3 UVs

Thanks

I regularly see wolvers with medium UVs for 30k cr / 600 ce.

1) will be easier to sell on the AH, but fees are involved. Shouting in trade can bypass it if you can manage to sell it. Personally I would just toss it on the AH.

2) Skolvers cost approximately 5.9k CE to make, including the cost of recipes for the first time and unbinding costs (mats converted to CE currency if bought from AH). You may be able to sell it for 7k if you're patient or you can gamble to put it on the AH for ~428k (pre closing cost) profit. If it doesn't sell even just one time, you'll probably lose money. Risk and value of your time factors into this. In the end, it's really not much more profit than selling the wolver itself.

If you want something surefire, do it with a UV High or max. They want the UV, not necessarily the 5 star item. Who knows, they might want vog instead of skolver.

Thanks for your answers.

Thanks for your answers.

I placed the wolver cap with medium elemental on AH and got 13k, and also a shock high sold for 27k, after 2 days on AH. It's far less than you said.

So now my doubt is, maybe only few people look at AH, and even less for 2* items?
